ColumbiaMen's Newton Ridge Plus Ii Waterproof Hiking Shoe

I really love this brand. The boots are very comfortable and very light. The materials are really of excellent quality. I have had several colors but in black they look very pretty. I will buy this brand again even above the one from the little tree, highly recommended.

These boots are awesome! They’re surprisingly light for their size. They’re pretty comfortable too. They do run a bit big, so I had to get a half size smaller. I’ve been wearing them mostly for winter, and they’ve got great traction. I haven’t had any issues slipping. They keep my feet warm and dry, which is perfect for the cold weather.

The weight is perfect and they look great, i don't question Columbia as a brand, they're excellent and the quality is exceptional, but had to return them because as soon as i put them on i felt them tight on the sides and started hurting my archs. All my shoes are size 13 (normal), but a 13 (Wide) on these would of made a difference for me i guess. Other that this, there's a lot of space for the toes and feels good on the heels, they were easy to put on and take off and very comfortable to tie compared to others, very well cushioned on the bottom and padded on the sides, and the shoe toe is flexible enough while being protective against a common hit.

Great work boots for the Average Joe, comfortable, waterproof and long lasting.

I feel like when looking at pictures the colors was a little bit brighter so except something a little darker. It is a boot but idc about functionality they just look nice and are comfortable.

These boots are great looking and well made but for some reason the left boot is hurting my left two toes.. My right foot which is slightly bigger does not seem to have a problem. I have never had shoes or boots do this before. I am going to try and measure the difference between the two to see if it is a boot problem or a sudden left foot problem. I have tried inserts and have actually cut the insert out where these toes are but it did not fix the problem. I am sad because I really like the way they ;look.11/30/24 updateI have trimmed my inserts which made it a little better but still hurt so I ordered new inserts that were much thinner than my original inserts and it made it ok to wear during the day but driving still hurts my left foot. Very weird. I don't think I can wear these and I don't' believe after wearing them this long I can return them so, I may have to give them away.

These are super lightweight and fit very well right out of the box. They are also waterproof !

Tested these boots extensively - 3 weeks of backpacking in Vietnam. From hiking in the mountains, walking in cities, riding scooters...they're very comfortable boots. Great fit.The only complaints I have are:(1) Slippery soles when wet. That's a huge negative for me. They need to use a better compound.(2) Metal lace hooks are soft and will bend. They won't bend when you tie laces, but sometimes the boots catch on each other when you walk, or they catch on debris in the bush. I expect better hardware for the price paid.(3) Right boot now squeaks a bit. Not a big deal to me, but could be annoying for other customers who buy these boots.

High quality great price point. Strong support, great for mild to cold days. Love the colour.
