Osprey UltraLight Zip Organizer

I love this little kit. I know some reviews say it's too small, but I travel to a lot to conferences for a week or so and with just my two carry-ons. Don't let 2 carry-ons fool you on what I haul though. I am allergic to laundry detergents and synthetic dyes and perfumes so this means that I haul a sheet, pillowcase, and towels with me as well as all my toiletries because I can't use freebies at a hotel without a reaction. (What's my trick--combine good travel gear with some good camping gear--backpackers hate weight!). So why this Osprey kit? I was looking to consolidate and upgrade--I used to carry a drop kit that was 4"x6"x2" and a separate liquids bag, but I wanted something all inclusive and wanted to be able to hang it in the bathroom. The liquids bag on this kit was detachable and easy to access at the airport. The hanging kits don't usually have this feature! I also always buy brightly colored gear so it's easy to see if I've left something in all those neutral toned hotel rooms. The rip stop fabric should be fairly durable and one of my carry-one bags is a wheeled Osprey suitcase and it's going strong after a decade of campus travel and 2-3 conferences a year. This pack is also fairly compact--carry-ons and all. What does that mean as you look at my photos? I'm low maintenance when it comes to hair and makeup but high maintenance on the number of things I have to take with me. So if you like more makeup but can use the shampoo and soap at the hotel, it should fit. Also full disclosure--I've gotten fairly good at travel containers, AND I keep an extra pouch for meds, supplements, first aid (which you can see in one of the pictures for reference--that pouch is from the container store and since it is soft is stuffs easily in nooks and crannies of my bag). Okay so you can see the kit rolled up and unfurled. Stuffed full it's about 4.5"Hx8.5"Wx3D" and there's still some stretch room if I need to sneak in something small. In the liquids back I have a pouch/bag of New Wash Rich, and styling gel for my wavy hair, aloe and calendula salve, toothpaste, tinted sunscreen (instead of foundation), EO sample bottle with face oil (works as night moisturizer and eye makeup remover), brow gel, mascara, eye glass cleaner, essential oils, and mouthwash (don't be scared it's Dragonfly Effects herbal). I can also sneak a small EO headache roller in here or change out the hair gel with a mini mister of sea salt/curl spray. The trickiest part of the liquids pouch? Not perfectly square and my matador shampoo bag is a little slick but the New Wash is tick. The middle pouch--which is accessible from the the inside and the outside the kit when rolled! Cool! --Has a half bar of soap (which I could probably go smaller with and I use also for shaving), solid lotion, body glide, deodorant, sunscreen stick, floss, and solid/cream blush/eye makeup compact. (hint: turn travel deodorant and body glide horizontally, they fit better that way) The fabric and bag are what I roll my necklaces and earrings in. I tuck this in the mesh pouch on this level. The upper pouch comes with a mirror !...and I carry a comb, small scissors and sewing kit, hair bands/bobby pins, eyelash curler, lip liner (tinted lip balm is in my purse), eye liner, tweezers, travel razor, and travel toothbrush. There is room in this pouch for a few more things--feminine hygiene for example. The only thing I have that really doesn't fit in this is my night guard case. I hope this helps those of you trying to figure out how small might be too small for you or trying to gauge what you can really get into this kit. Be well! Travel safe!

Wasn't sure about this-pictures aren't enough. Gambled on the Osprey name and Wow scored a great product. Light weight, several different types of compartments. Lots of nooks to place band-aids, toilet essentials. The top part, if you divide it by thirds, has a zipper compartment for bandaids, flat items that don't need fluid protection. Held an array of Tegaderms, foot pads, moleskin, blister shield, band-aids and a few women' products. It has a mirror velcroed in. On top of its a mess section which held slightly bulkier items and is see thru. I put in scissors, tweezers, sewing kit, kit of cotton pads and a few dental items, gum pics and brushes.n Thes second compartment has the same zippered pouch as the top -again for flatter items, with two free pouches sewn on , good for athletic tape, and hydrocortisone and antibiotic salve in small sized packets. Finally the third pouch has a plasticized zippered pouch which i used for individual sunscreens, my toothpaste and mouth wash, Aquaphor and any liquid toiletries I carried from hotel to hotel.I used this bag for a 20 day trip and while it was tight when I left, it always zipped and fit neatly in my checked -carry on size bag. I love the material thin, versatile and STRONG. Just what you EXPECT from Osprey-worth the investment-so lightweight!

Hesitant to buy as all the reviews looked to be from men. So here is a woman’s review.Purchased for carry on international travel for necessities and for week long sailing trip shower bag. Looks small at first and many mentioned not worth the cost- I disagree. It is lightweight-as it should be. Quality zippers and shapes to your items so it fits any bag - not hard sided. Perfect for meds, mini travel sized items, lotion, a few pieces of make up, toothpaste, toothbrush, small Scope, dental floss, 15 make your remover wipes and extra outside compartment for kleenex and a dozen hand wipes. Surprisingly holds more than I thought. Hook is a bonus to hang on those small airport bathrooms and plane areas for long flights. Hook tucks away when not in use.

Nice organizer. I purchased it to replace an old bulky dopp kit. I was hoping it would fit deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, tube of shaving cream etc. It is not quite big enough for me. Would be great for back packing. I see now that Osprey has dopp kits in two different sizes. Guess I'll need to pick one of them up too. Really like the Osprey gear.

I really like this product and bought my second one within a month of obtaining my first one. I use this organizer for my travel tech pouch and toiletry kit. My favorite feature is the mesh exterior zipper that lets you access the main storage compartment when the kit is opened or closed. The least utilized part of the bag (for me) is the separable transparent pouch that I assume is meant for liquid items. When the rest of the organizer has stuff in it, this pouch seems to result in weird bulges if there is anything in it. I normally do not keep it attached.It makes for a well organized tech and travel pouch for smaller objects and cables. I keep my instant access items in the main compartment with some peripherals in the rest of the kit. I keep a couple of items that I do not normally use in the detachable pouch, separate from the rest of the kit unless needed.As a toiletry kit, it is very compact. I find it perfect for short trips on its own and use it as my main kit on longer trips where some larger additional items may be needed. I usually keep any fluids in a separate zip lock during travel for ease of TSA scanning since the organizer can be too small for everything.

I got this to pack items I like to have with me on a long international flight like toiletries, glasses, medicines etc. The size and flexible organization was perfect.I wish it came more colors because I want to order more as the size, lightness and organizing potential make it a great pouch for multiple daily purposes.Osprey, I appreciate your quality, style and accessible price on all your products!

This person toiletry bag is light wight and provides all the required function needed. Goes great with my osprey backpack.

Vorab, es handelt sich um ein Washbag in den nur Reisegrößen hineinpassen. Dann jedoch ist er einfach perfekt! Er hat mehrere Fächer, die es einem einfach machen, Ordnung zu halten und nicht immer ewig wühlen zu müssen. Er hat einen Haken zum Aufhängen, der sehr praktisch ist, da es in öffentlichen Bädern oft an Abstellflächen mangelt. Haken sind jedoch fast immer vorhanden. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Erst dachte ich, die Tasche sei viel zu klein. Sie ist auch tatsächlich kleiner als viele andere auf dem Markt. Aber durch eine geniale Aufteilung und flexibl anpassbare Größe erlebe ich sie jetzt als echtes Raumwunder. Ich habe drei andere (die z.T. größer waren, aber überhaupt keine Fächer für eine sinnvolle Aufteilung hatten) dafür zurückgeschickt. Wer wie ich gerne leicht unterwegs ist und mit vielen kleineren Produkten (von Medikamenten über Pflaster bis zum Shampoo) gerne alles in einer Tasche unterbringt, für bis zu 14 Tage, wird hier glücklich:-)

Penso che sia sicuramente la migliore toiletry bag per chi viaggia zaino in spalla attualmente sul mercato. Il costo non è irrisorio (circa 40€) considerando che lo stesso lavoro lo può fare qualsiasi astuccino abbiate in casa. Tuttavia è davvero ben fatta e ha delle funzionalità interessanti (la borsa liquidi che si stacca, lo specchietto, le tasche con zip su due lati). Valutate se avete davvero bisogno di un prodotto del genere. Se cercate di viaggiare spendendo poco e dovete organizzare lo zaino, sicuramente ci sono acquisti più importanti da fare prima di comprare questa bag. Se invece avete un buon budget, la consiglio assolutamente.Unica pecca: la parte frontale fatta di retina mi sembra un pò fragile. Per ora tiene ma ho paura che si tagli facilmente in futuro.
