Get more out of your SAK
This clip fits perfectly on a recent Explorer: it doesn't interfere with the tweezers or the parcel hook. Now I can clip this into my 5th pocket comfortably. The clip feels durable, with good clip strength. The scales on swiss army knives are really shiny and slippery, so even a tight clip will still have some slippage. 20$ is a little high, but I'm gonna use this knife for the rest of my life. Some random thoughts: - Everyone who is mad that this clip doesn't fit their knife: y'all need to read the listings before you buy things. This clip will not fit on knives made before 1999, even if they're on the compatibility list. The older knives have a bigger eyelet, and this kit just won't fit. - The clip attaches to the eyelet where the keyring would usually go. That eyelet is part of the spring for the bottle opener and can opener. That means the clip will move a little bit as that spring moves! Just be aware of that. The clip isn't loose, the spring is just moving. - Installing the clip is easy, but you can make it even easier with a trick. If you open the bottle opener a little, the eyelet will stick out. Then the spacer the clip attaches to will slide easily onto the eyelet. - This isn't for the squeemish, but if you need the clip to be tighter, take it off and bend it a little. - The spacer interferes a tiny bit with the parcel hook on 2&3 layer knives, but I think it's much better on 4&5 layer knives.

Great pocket clip.
Solid clip. This makes carrying a Swiss Army knife much easier. Easy to install and great quality.

Perfect
Have you ever carried a swiss army knife and thought, "This needs a clip?" If so this is for you. It only fits standard SAKs but is great and works well.

Do not buy
Terrible. Not even close to fitting deluxe tinker. Oh, I guess I have to machine it to make it fit. No big deal I guess. Oh except its supposed to fit exactly. Not even worth returning. Then customer service associates are currently busy. Right. A warehouse full of servers. Busy. Congrats on "space"

Good idea, less than stellar precision
I don't write a lot of reviews, but wanted to make others aware of the installation challenges I had. I have a Huntsman. The mounting block that comes with the product is frankly just a hair small for the ring on the Huntsman. The round cutout would not go over the ring as it came. I was afraid that if I pushed any harder, I'd crack the block, so I took a small Dremmel bit and gently reamed the cutout. That was just enough to get the ring started into the cutout. From there I used needle nose pliers to push the ring almost flush with the block. I tired to install the screw, but the ring still wasn't deep enough for the threads to grab. I then took a small metal rod and gently hammered the ring a little deeper until I got the screw to engage. Honestly, the block was so tight on the ring by, the screw might not have been needed, but I installed the screw anyway, of course. The cutout on the block really needs to be 1 or 2mm bigger for the Huntsman. Also, as it came, the clip sat about 1/4 or 1/8 inch above the knife, so I gently bent the clip to where it just touches the knife body. After doing that, it has decent pocket retention. I would actually give this 3.5 stars if I could do a fractional rating. 4 for sturdiness, but a 3 (or less) for precision and ease of installation. Now that I have it installed and tweaked, it seems solid and should be better than my old dangly suspension clip I used. Hope this helps someone's decision to purchase or installation!

Fits newer tinker knife, not older ones.
Purchased for an older Tinker that my Dad had left me, and unfortunately it did not fit. Apparently the design of the eye loop has changed at some point. I went ahead and purchased a brand new Tinker and it fits perfectly. Finally I can carry one of these knives clipped inside my pocket, something I’ve always wanted to do.

Works, but may require some hand fitting
It's fairly simple and would be easy to get on if it were properly fitted. As it is, I had to take a Dremel and remove some material in order to get the mounting block to sit deep enough on the key ring loop in order to screw it down. It also seems a bit fragile, but I haven't used it long enough to know for sure.

Pricey, Yet Priceless - Some Tips
Yeah, I’m on the fence like you were about buying this because it’s a bit pricey. But it’s well worth the money. I started wearing dickies work pants and the pockets are shallow. Well I lost my Victorinox that I’ve carried for over 15 years because of that. If you have deep pockets, such as blue jeans, it’s very compact and slide in and out of the pocket without catching. If you’re wearing dress pants such as Docker’s that have deep pockets you can either put the knife in your pocket or you can clip it on your belt. I would not recommend clipping it to the pocket with dress pants again clip it to the belt. So my rule of thumb is if I’m wearing jeans, I can either put my knife in the pocket, clip it to the belt or clip it to the opening of the pocket itself with the knife on the inside and the clip on the outside. If I’m wearing deep pocket dress pants, then my knife goes in the pocket or clipped to a belt. But I am wearing dress pants or Dickies that have shallow pockets is best to clip onto belt. I would not clip it to your dress pants pockets. Other than that, I hope these tips are helpful. And you can always send it back to Amazon if you don’t like it, but I’m sure fire guessing that you will keep it. Excellent product.

Looks great, easy to install, but removed immediately afterwards because the cap lifter no longer snaps tightly in place. Great idea for DIY but not for me

awful quality, holes drilled for the clip were too small, won't fit at all.
