A 150g pack of artificial moss doesn't sound much, but because of its lightweight construction you actually get loads in a pack which should keep you going for quite a while.This moss is good for a range of modelling and art and craft ideas, I am planning to use some of it with my model railway set up and also with some miniature living gardens I will be planting up.The moss doesn’t look totally realistic, but I’m hoping once I’ve combined it with other items it will seamlessly blend in.

I am always looking for potential hobby products for miniature wargaming, and when I saw this fake moss, I decided to give it a try.It is exactly as shown on the video, essentially a tangled, knotted, elasticky ball of thread. I went for the bright green option with a view to adding to some of my scenery pieces. I initially tried it as a small clump and wasn't a huge fan, but I quite liked the effect gained when hanging it off a ledge. It doesn't really look like moss at this scale, but it's meant to be a real scale moss for plants, so I can't be critical about it for that. I have attached a photo (glue still wet) to let you make your own judgement on it, but for me, I am pretty happy with how it looks and will definitely use it more for scenery.
