I have had the cheap 79¢ IKEA Hildegun towels for a good decade, and I absolutely love them. They are the best thing for drying dishes lint free and they absorb water easily. They fit into lid grooves to absorb water, are wonderful to wipe down the faucet, dry veggies, are just a fantastic towel that I use daily for everything. They have a few minor holes from drying sharp knives with no hem fraying at all, and are still in good shape and I know will last me for many, many more years. However, I only have 10 and had always wished I had bought more. IKEA has been out of stock online and in stores for over a year and now it seems they have been discontinued! People have bought them all up and are reselling them on other sites for 3 times the original cost. So I went looking on Amazon for something similar. In the photo, the red striped towel is from IKEA, the blue striped towel is from Linen Lane. Zooming in on Linen Lane, you can see an alternating sort of woven white stripe pattern on the white part. The IKEA towel also has this same sort of alternating white stripe pattern, except a little bit wider. Both are 100% cotton and they will shrink. The Linen Lane shrunk some, as expected, but it’s still a good usable size. They have a nice hem on them and feel like a good quality for being an inexpensive towel. I personally do not like using thick towels to dry dishes because it’s hard to feel the dish in my hand, and I don’t like a too big towel either because I fumble around with the excess. I like these thin towels. I can fit them into all nooks and crannies to get water, into glasses easily too. So far the Linen Lane feels good in my hand and is performing well. It absorbs quite well too. Some other reviewers have mentioned about not liking how these towels get too wet. Actually, that’s exactly what you want. If the towel is wet then that means it’s absorbing all the water! It’s not unusual for me to have to use two or three towels if I’m drying a lot of dishes because of the towel being too wet at some point, but that’s because it absorbs the water exactly like it’s meant to do. And that’s ok to use extra towels because I have more in the drawer. These shine up all the flatware and pots and pans fantastically! So far they have washed up well and right now have a little tiny bit of stiffness to them. HOWEVER, if these are going to do like my IKEA towels, then the more I wash them, the softer they will get and they will even absorb better and better. So I believe they will get softer, but it will simply take some time to get there. Right now they are a very good addition to my beloved IKEA towels and I know I’ll be using the Linen Lane just as much and these are the closest I can get to my IKEA towels. Also, never ever use fabric softener or dryer sheets on these towels because it will coat them and make them not absorb anything at all😁

I really needed new dish towels. The color is plain just like I wanted. The quality and feel of the fabric and lint free was what I wanted. The size is perfect for proofing my bread and it works well.

Bought these towels to hopefully offset paper towel use. They are so pretty! Like the color and feel. They are not very big so take that into consideration but wash up nicely.

These kitchen towels were exactly the color and look I was going for. The towels are a good size and have a small loop to hang them from a hook. The only thing I found troublesome was they are a little thinner then I expected. Still they wash well and look great in my kitchen.

Nice material pattern . One sewing job of one them was crooked. Main thing is to expect it to shrink an inch after first wash. Mine are now 14 x 24. I hope the 2nd wash doesn’t shrink even more! Material is thin.

Waited a bit to review to see how they held up. We just threw out the rest of our tea towels to keep these around. They are pretty absorbent and having a decent amount of them means we can rotate frequently. Haven’t found that they hold onto odors. Would 100% repurchase.

We simply needed a few extra kitchen towels and these showed up on sale. We weren't looking for anything fancy or pricey, the mostly white with a blue stripe is fine.These are fair priced and the cotton is good quality - they absorb water really well when wiping dishes or spilled/splashed water. These towels should last a long time.Definitely recommended purchase.

Son de algodón, muy absorbentes y se secan rápido. Tengo toallas en la cocina, pero estaba buscando algún paño que me pudiera echar al hombro para limpiarme las manos cuando guiso y estos me parecieron indicados. Cumplen con su función. Los recomiendo.
