Manuka Vet Skin & Wound Gel, 500+ MGO Medical Grade Manuka Honey, Rapid Healing & Skin Repair Treatment for Dogs, Horses and Cats, 1.76oz (50g) Tube

We bought the Skin & Wound gel for an outside cat that had been bit in the back by a dog. I can tell you that the cat was in bad shape when we caught him. The wounds had alot of pus and blood and clear liquid coming out of it. we even found fly larvae in some of the wound. We flushed the wound several times. We had seen someone use this product on their horse and it healed fast. We had to order off amazon because we coudnt find it anywhere else. Not even our vets had it.We started using it as soon as we received it on august 6th. We used sterile gauze pads and bandage wrap to help keep it all on the wounds. Taking care of it 3 times a day in 110 degree weather and keeping the cat out of the heat outside. WOW is all we can say about this product. 15 days later I am here to say WOW!!!!! This cat is really lucky. The honey really helped heal the wound. Drew all the pus out and has cleared up beautifully. This is a really amazing product and we will make sure to keep some on hand in case of future incidents. Without this product that poor cat wouldnt have survived. Thank u for such a ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS product that we will keep on hand!!!!

This product is amazing!

This product wasn't very easy to apply on my dog because it was VERY thick and it seems to get all over him. However, once I was able to apply a good amount and I could cover it with some gauze the product worked great. I wish there was more product in the tub! However, this was a good product overall.

My cat returned home with a large wound on the Rt. rear leg. After going to the Vet and getting it cleaned and clipped the Dr said there was no skin to suture the wound and there would be to much tension placed on the leg if it was sutured together. Since there was open muscle exposure the Dr recommended placing wet to dry bandages daily with the use of manuka honey on the wound. Luckily the cat that this happened to is a very compliant patient and as a technician I knew I could do this at home. I have heard about manuka honey but have never used it. I ordered this product and it has been amazing. My cat is healing!!

Was not happy with the product, the tube was half empty. I literally had to push most of the way up just to get to the ointment. Size: Use proper tube for the amount given which is about a 1½tsps for the price.

I have an elderly Maltese/ bishon dog! We noticed a strange odor coming from underneath his arm/elbow. There was a large black callus, and on the top side of it with an open sore, which was the cause of the odor! Really can’t afford to take him to a veterinarian so I looked here on Amazon and found this miraculous natural product that healed up that sore within three applications!! This honey also made this large, 2 1/2 inch long callus, shrink to a point where no it’s going to either completely disappear or I’m gonna just cut it off. I am so impressed by this product! It was a little bit more expensive than some of the other things listed here on Amazon, but I always say you get what you pay for! My dogs order is gone, the store has healed completely, and the callus is almost gone. I would refer this product 100%

This product is amazing. Just finished using it on a friend's quarter horse's rump with a level 2 skin flap tear. After introducing a few well-placed stiches, the wound was cleaned and dressed in Manuka honey daily. The wound granulized with minimal proud flesh and close to no scarring. I preferred the gel consistency over the creme for the large area application, but both produced the same results. Over 25 yrs working with horses, this is a must have in the med closet.

This product was a life saver! Literally. My dog got in a scuffle with another dog. Dogs do dog stuff. She got her behind handed to her and this kept her from getting infected after she was off of the antibiotics. I've since used this on another dog that got stuck in a fence and got gashed open and again, perfect results!
