Best to be a craftsperson
I settled on the "F" for a couple reasons. 1. Cheaper price. 2. Slightly thinner glass to reduce weight since I would be doing this myself.First impressions:This arrived via some freight service. It weighed a lot and was encased in a wooden crate. Knowing it was glass, I had the guy wait around before I signed anything while opening the crate to see if the glass was intact. It is well packaged and after seeing how it was secured in the crate, I would doubt that it would break anywhere without showing significant signs from the exterior of the box that it was dropped. The chroming was done nicely. The bearings seem to be high quality and smooth. All the metal parts seemed top notch. The glass was cut nicely. The edging was perfect and square. The drilled holes through the glass ended up being in the perfect locations. The Good:I can't believe how nice this door is when up. I've seen similar cost at least 3 times the price...mostly 4 times at HD and Lowes. It is quiet and smooth. After a month of use, it cleans well and shows no build-up of hard water or soap. I just use a squeegee every couple showers or so. If I do this again, I would buy the same thing. 5 stars on this part. The Bad:The directions are horrendous...and I'm being nice. In fact, I would sequence a few things differently. Here are a couple tips. 1. The cross bar will flex a bit when the door weight is added. This surprised me initially, but the door is extremely heavy. For this reason, when the bar is level, the door will want to float to the middle no matter which end it is on. Since mine wouldn't stay closed when the shower was running, I superglued a sliver of rubber. Probably 1/8" x 1/8". This made a nice stop so the door stayed closed. 2. If your sliding bar is to be located inside the shower pan area, before installing the bar permanently, completely assemble the sliding door and place it inside the shower. This will save you much angst. You'll simply just have to lift and hang the door. If left outside, you'll have to thread this very heavy door at an awkward angle into the shower. The Ugly:Did I mention the directions are horrendous. They really should be redone. It took a lot longer because it was not very clear. It took about 3 hours for me to complete the door. If done again, I could probably do it in 90 minutes or less. The directions stink.

Great buy but difficult to install
We ended up doing a forced bathroom remodel due to water damage and I spent a lot of time looking on Amazon for nice, reasonably-priced shower doors. These definitely fit the bill! They are as close as I could get to a "frame-less" look within my budget and they make a huge difference in our tiny bathroom. The clear glass and lack of frame really make the space look bigger. That being said, my handyman hated installing them. He found the instructions to be worthless and it took him several hours (with a helper) to get them properly installed. Just keep installation difficulty in mind when ordering. If my handyman, who has 30 years of experience in construction, had issues installing these doors, then they are probably not for the average DIYer to attempt. That being said, they're a great purchase at the listed price so take some of that money you saved and hire a professional. They're lovely shower doors!

Good door, difficult to install
Great design, well manufactured, instructions are poor. Even pro had a difficult time (left or right installation is not addressed in the instruction)
