Welcome back to one of THE bands in the realm of prog . Without doubt their most melodic & cohesive album to date . Tommy back singing brings it all together & as ever the musicianship is fantastic . I have missed this band releasing an album . The whole thing works brilliantly . As with S.W they always have some kind of story line & on this album it goes through the entire album . I am also a huge Kamelot fan & firmly believe Tommy Karevik has enhanced that band but i first heard him in S.Wonder & i don't think any other singer could do justice to their songs like he does . This album should make them more accessible to more rock fans be they into prog or not . Welcome back guys & long may you be back .

Just a world class melodic rock. this is awsome

After an 8 year wait this was an excellent return to form.Glad to hear Tommy utilising his full range which has been more reserved on the recent Kamelot albums.

I'd say this is the best album to date by SW. It's a very cohesive work and a good concept well told in the lyrics. It's a powerful emotional musical experience and not overly proggy in the sense that there's no unnecessary drawn out "trying-to-impress" boring instrumental doodling. The instrumental parts are good and fitting and not overlong. Tommy's vocals are superb and full of expression. He is truly an impressive singer who puts his whole heart into the songs. There are a couple of parts where I wished the vocals were slightly more upfront and clearer in the mix but this is a very minor point and not a problem. Captivating from start to finish. Very reminiscent of the style of the epic track The Great Escape, and with connections to it. Just - a beautiful album really, and despite being well received it will sadly not get the full attention that it actually deserves. May this band run and run!
