This is a brilliant product , my hair was falling out , due to cancer medication ( tablets , not chemo ). Got soo thin I dreaded washing my hair … then a very good hairdresser told me about this … BELIEVE ME IVE NOT LOOKED BACK , my hair is growing back , I use every time I wash now .. and the shampoo is Devine , and you only need a tiny bit

This set comprises of shampoo, conditioner and leave in scalp care & hair thickening treatment. I've been using it most days since 4th October. The blue shampoo creates thick foam and smells delightfully of mint humbugs. I do not need to use very much as I have thin hair and a little does go a long way. The conditioner is white in colour and again I do not need to use a great deal of it although more than I'd use of the shampoo. It too smells delightfully of mint humbugs. My hair is left clean and nicely conditioned. I have no need to dry my hair, it's so thin it is completely dry within 10mins. I apply the scalp care & hair thickening treatment next. You need to shake it, but it does not come with any instructions (nor does the shampoo and conditioner- not on the box and not on the bottles). I wasn't doing this for the first couple of weeks and have only started since I re-read the product description page. I'm using 6 pumps to massage into my scalp and leave on my hair. This is a clear liquid that doesn't have a smell that I've noticed.In conclusion to date I have found my hair to be soft and nicely conditioned with a nice sheen. I simply cannot decide if my hair is thicker, but I suspect that it is not. My hair does seem to have more volume. I have not used any other hair products at all, whilst using the Nioxin. It has not yet been 30 days of use, which is when 8 out 10 are supposed to acknowledge greater thickness.This is a nice quality product, but it comes with a premium price tag which is beyond my means, so I will continue to use it until it is gone, but won't be purchasing more. The price at time of writing is £42.75.

I've been using this marvellously effective product for about 2 months now, and I'm not at all surprised that my shedding hair has stopped shedding and is looking so much thicker, because it came highly recommend from my hairdresser, who I trust. ! What I didn't anticipate, after having tried every nail product under the sun, having had weak and pealing nails all my life (I'm 55) - is that the Nioxin has given me strong, long and fabulous nails! Who knew! Highly recommended for both hair and nails! Excellent product!

I was expecting to get the normal hair set but received the one for coloured hair, so obviously that makes reviewing difficult.I haven’t used the serum as it says on the box it can cause redness and as I have sensitive skin I didn’t want to sensitise my scalp. So, I’ve used the shampoo and conditioner regularly since receiving them and can confirm that my thin frizzy hair is now looking healthier. It’s easier to style and stays looking good. It ‘appears’ thicker but obviously this is marginal and I can’t prove it. I’d recommended checking the ingredients on INCIDecoder to see if this is going to agree with you.I hope that’s helpful even though I got the coloured hair set!!I’d buy it anyway.

Love the sensation of these products on the scalp. Little baby hairs growing already in the areas I was concerned about!
