TruVibe Organic Raw Hemp Seeds (8 Ounce)

These seeds are really wonderful. I had never tried them before, but at 10 grams of protein in 2 TBS, (since I am a new non-meat eater and need new forms of protein), these seemed like a good idea.They were not just a good idea, but are now my favorite new topping/addition.They have a soft consistency and I think a great taste. I have been putting 2 TBS a day on salads, in pasta, in my banana bread, really on or in just about anything (except I haven't tried with sweet- but I'll bet they'd be fine in granola bars).I can't say if this brand is better or worse than other brands, but I am certainly sticking with this brand as they come packaged well, and taste fresh and tasty.

The benefits of hemp seeds are quite amazing and I encourage all to do your research on this true "superfood. Hemp seeds will be a staple in my diet now and I will definitely be a repeat buyer of this brand as these hemp seeds are fresh, delicious, and well priced!I also love supporting companies that care about the environment as much as they care about people - TruVibe is apart of the 1% For the Planet movement which donates at least 1% of annual net revenues to environmental organizations worldwide. It's a win-win for all :)

I really wanted to like these. Like everyone said, the packaging is great. They taste like other hemp seeds and they're organic. You get a lot more for your money than with other brands, however there are grains of sand or dirt in almost every spoonful. You might not notice it if you're blending them into smoothies, but I eat mine mixed into whatever grains I'm having in the morning and it's really annoying biting into grainy bits of dirt. I haven't had this problem with the two other brands I'm used to buying. It's either I save money and have to deal with dirt and whatever beasties come along with it or spend a little more and have a more enjoyable eating experience. I think I'll spend the extra money.

The product itself is good, my only real issue is with the packaging. The resealable zip placement & function is not great.

Okay honesty time: The five-star review is about pretty much everything about this product except the taste. It's an edible product, so the taste should be kind of important. But when I consider the joy of doing business with a company that cares, and the confidence I feel in consuming this product as part of a healthier me in 2015, I cannot help but give it the highest rating, and to be honest I'd eat this stuff with a spoon to keep a company like TruVibe in business. Luckily, I add it to delicious smoothies and I can barely taste it. The hemp protein really makes a difference for me, I feel fuller longer and have more energy. I use this for protein in my smoothie regimen to balance the other proteins with a vegan option. I'm not crazy about the taste (obviously) compared to, say, PB2, but I feel better getting a variety of proteins. It tastes like it smells... a little like garden compost. But as I said, if you make a smoothie with strong fruit flavors you barely taste it.

I’ve tried four different brands, this brand comes in last and here is why.Other hemp seeds are broken in to very small pieces, I don’t like it because you can’t really chew them since they are so small and when you eat them you can’t really taste them. The hemp seeds from TruVibe have a nice size and they are for the most part whole halves. They also taste fresh which was good.Immediately after receiving my shipment I opened the bag and ate a small amount of hemp seeds. They taste bitter, you get used to the slight bitterness and it goes away, but I taste it again here and there.I found husk every time I eat some seeds … This morning I had cereal with seeds and found husk in my cereal, added hemp seeds to my lunch and dinner ad had several husk with each meal.After writing the original review I continued eating the hemp seeds and getting towards the bottom of the bag. Now I'm finding things that I'm not really sure what they are, looks like clumps of dirt.Not impressed and disappointed, I like that they are organic, non GMO. But that's about it, taste and quality is the worse I've tried.

These hemp seeds have grit in them. When I went to try to return them, I was one week past the return option date...so I am stuck with them, but won't purchase them again. I would give it a one star, but the flavor is actually nice...

It was a great price for the size. It is a superfood and beneficial to your body , although the taste is not scrumtious it is still good. I enjoyed it and it is helping me become healthier become it is rich in protein ,vitamins,and minerals and you only need to consume a few teaspoons a day alone or mixed in anything. This was my first time trying it and I will definately be buying more from this company.
