Good Value - Make Sure You Get the Upgrades That Will Assure You That These Will Survive Normal Use
I purchased the the PowerDeWise Professional Grade 2 Lavalier Clip-On Microphones Set for Dual Interview, and I must say, I am impressed with its performance. This microphone set proved to be a valuable tool for my ZOOM calls as they give me freedom of movement. . One of the standout features of these lavalier microphones is their excellent fidelity. The sound quality captured by the dual lav lapel setup is clear, crisp, and highly professional. Whether I was using them with my iPhone or a camera, the audio captured was of impressive quality, enhancing the overall production value of my videos. However, I must note that after a limited period of use, the lapel mic holder broke. While this was disappointing, I reached out to the company, and they swiftly addressed the issue. The customer service team promptly replaced the clips free of charge, which speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. To avoid such an issue, I recommend potential buyers to ensure they get a kit that includes the fix for the lapel mic holder. This will save you from any potential inconvenience and ensure that you can fully enjoy the benefits of this microphone set without any hiccups. Apart from this minor setback, the PowerDeWise Professional Grade 2 Lavalier Clip-On Microphones Set has proven to be a reliable and versatile choice for dual interviews. The noise-canceling feature worked impressively well, minimizing background noise and capturing clean audio, even in challenging environments. Additionally, the 3.5mm connection is compatible with a wide range of devices, making it convenient to use with smartphones, cameras, and other recording equipment. The long cable length provides flexibility during interviews, allowing freedom of movement without compromising audio quality. the PowerDeWise Professional Grade 2 Lavalier Clip-On Microphones Set is a valuable tool for content creators, interviewers, and vloggers. The fidelity of the audio is exceptional, and the noise-canceling capabilities greatly enhance the overall recording experience. While there was an issue with the lapel mic holder, the company's swift response and replacement of the clips without any additional charges demonstrate their commitment to customer satisfaction. I recommend this microphone set, but do make sure to get a kit that includes the fix for the lapel mic holder to ensure a hassle-free experience.

Hits the quality and price sweet spot, great with DJI Mic 2
I purchased these to use with my DJI Mic 2 system because the other lavalier (clip) mics I had generated a harsh hum with the DJI system. I'm mostly retired but do occasional videos for non-profit organizations and, though I operate on a tight budget, I like to provide top quality. Multiple reviews and comparison videos led me to this purchase and I'm not disappointed. To my ears, the sound quality is very good, the same as the DJI mics without a lavalier plugged in, and generates no discernible hum or distortion. I did have one small problem, one of the broken magnetic clips became loose and broke when I tried to squeeze it tighter (see photo). The company promptly replaced the clip at no charge by sending me an additional complete mic set. The mic comes with a long cord AND extension. The mic cord is a bit too long for my uses but it's easily coiled up with the included Velcro keeper. The mics are nicely packaged in a cloth case with extension cords and adapters.

Good quality, great value!
I spent 3-5 days looking at this Lavalier mic set, reading reviews, and weighing the costs of other mic sets, before I eventually ended up purchasing this one. What can I say, the quality of the mic speaks for itself, and it says more than the reviews could ever say. The sound quality is DYNAMIC, and the microphones pick up the voice of the person wearing the mic + background music that may be playing. The sound is crisp & clear. The mic set is plug and play, simply plug the AUX cord into your Smartphone/Tablet, open up a sound recording app, and start recording! I have not tested this on my PC, but I have no reason to believe that it would not be equally easy to setup. The wires and the mics feel solid in my hands, and hold a good weight. The wires themselves are a bit thin (in my opinion) and I would prefer that they were the flat/smooth wires bc in the past, I've had an issue with wires of this grade/variety getting tangled easily and/or shorting out within 90 days. I will be using this mic set 2-3 times per week as a tool in a Podcast that I host- so I won't be using it everyday like headphones per se. I will be sure to post an update in 60 days (it's been 30 days since I purchased this set) to give you all an update on how the wires are holding up with regular, semi-consistent use. The mic set comes with 2 mics, 1 extra wind guards for the two mics included, a splitter, a 4 to 3 PIN adapter, an auxiliary cable extender should you need more footage, and a carrying case. The splitter and the carrying case are the two things that I appreciate the most. I use the case to store the mic set and also to transport it, I think it's a great accessory bc it keeps all of the wires and pieces and such in one central location. The splitter that comes with this set is often sold for $5-$20 separately, and I am so grateful that I didn't have to purchase one after the fact. This set offers a great value for someone like myself: I wanted an all-inclusive package that would allow me to start my Podcast/Blog with a small one-time small startup cost. This will not be the last microphone set that I buy, EVER, but it is priced reasonably for all that you will receive, and I feel as if it's an excellent tool for someone just starting out in the Blogging/Blogging/Podcast realm, or just someone looking for a lavalier mic set that is a great value.

Nothing comes close to this quality & these features at this price point!
Finding a product that is simple without sacrificing quality is very difficult! Why? Most companies assume that I want simple because I don't know anything. In fact, I want simple, because it doesn't need to be complicated. This product proves it's possible. The system has all the features I was looking for in an uncluttered, reasonably priced package. Because there are two individual extensions and individual mics, I have the versatility I was looking for. The system works for me, instead of having to work around the system. Nice! The sound clarity is markedly improved from what I had and background noise is greatly reduced. Will it eliminate all background noise and sound like a $500 mic run into a $1,500 mixer? Nope. But if you want to improve the sound quality of your videos or podcasts simply and affordably, without the need to lug around a flight case of equipment and do a ton of post production sound enhancing, this is your solution. Did I mention that the mic capsule isn't plastic? Huge plus!

Excellent mic set for new users
I am a brand new content creator on YouTube and needed an affordable option that provided quality, professional-grade sound for both my camera and iPhone. So I bought this interview set. PROS: 1) The cords lengths are excellent, perfect sizes for sitting anywhere between 3-17 ft from your camera (for individual) 3-11 ft for interview 2) Super easy to use right out of the package 3) Useable on diverse platforms: computer, smart phone and DSLR camera, 4) EXCELLENT customer service. * I happen to receive a defective mic. The PowerDeWise team replaced it immediately, no questions asked. 5) Very affordable. CONS: 1) The lapel clip does not detach from the mic (at least I haven’t been able to do so without fear of breaking it) 2) Storage bag is a tad small 3) Doesn’t have its own software app to edit sound. You are dependent on your software programming during the recording phase. As a result... 4) No simple solution to use your own head phones as a monitor if you happen to be a podcaster. * more advanced editors may have an easy solution but I am a brand new content creator so there may be simple solutions to this that I don’t know about. 5) Doesn’t come with a lightening adapter for iPhones.

Great Flexibility, Quality at Awesome Value!
I bought this dual lapel mic set for a soon-to-be developed YouTube channel as well as for audio messaging and podcasting for a new church that needs to get its message out in the months ahead. I have yet to get the production going, but I have had some time and opportunity to shoot some video segments on my smartphone to get a feel for the performance of these mics. I'm more than satisfied with everything so far! I've used other lapel-type omnidirectional mics with both phones and video cameras, and in fact compared a similar mic I had while I was experimenting with this set. The Power DeWise product was superior in build and sound quality, and especially in sensitivity. In fact, it's so sensitive to nearby sounds that it easily picks up quiet whispers in close proximity to the speaker. The good news is that, worn on your person, it does do a good job in NOT picking up lots of ambient room noise as a shotgun mic, etc would do. It does have a killer high end response which is typical of condenser style mics. Amazingly hot mic, especially with no battery or power source! The cord length with the extensions and y-adapter make for great flexibility for almost any studio or remote setup for conversations or interviews. And you just can't beat the price for what you're getting. My only real concern is that the audio cords are all pretty thin, so I think it's going to require some diligence and care to avoid kinks, tangles and folds that may tend to break those small gauge wires inside. Overall, a really good product at a great price! And it's obvious from everything from the packaging to the carry case to the product itself, that Power DeWise is a quality company as well. If you're considering a lapel mic set, don't hesitate on this one!

Completely unusable: whine/squeal from interference, and too hot.
This microphone seemed like a great deal. I watched a number of reviews and listened to comparisons of quality. I did notice in one the reviewer talked about the issue of a whine when he got near his TV due to interference. I was hoping this wouldn't be a problem for me. Unfortunately, the reality is, the whine is *very* present in many situations. It is more likely to be an issue than unlikely. Also, when I was able to get away from sources of interference, the mic itself was simply too "hot". The input was blown out, clipping, and didn't sound good. I tried it on: iPhone, iPad, Macbook Pro, Google Pixel 5a, and also through an external preamp. While I could control the input volume better on the preamp, I was not able to get a useful sound out of it with any of the above devices. So, the combination of the poor RF interference shielding, and the too hot input makes this entirely unusable, especially for my use case, which involves recording in my kitchen, or at my computer, where both have severe RF interference issues from power supplies that are not optional (e.g. my microwave and refrigerator and my laptop, with or without power plugged in (worse with power plugged in, but still present just quieter w/ battery power). Do not waste your time on this mic unless you're somehow recording outdoors or in some other environment free of electrically powered devices. I will come back and update this when I find a replacement product that works well and is within the same price class.

Quality is decent, but nothing to minimize handling noise, and TRRS woes
my first criticism is the handling noise. If you so much as gently stroke the cable, it picks it up. This makes these mics really bad for when you have to hide the mic in somebody's clothing. I have tried various encapsulation and shielding techniques and none of them have worked. Could be because I am inexperienced. But I would warn potential buyers of this. If you aren't trying to hide the mics, and put them on so nothing is rubbing up on them, it's a moot issue. The second gripe is that the cable plugs are TRRS, and depending on the device you might have issues. I tried plugging these into wireless lav transmitters and got no audio. Luckily, this set include one TRRS-to-TRS cable, so I was able to troubleshoot and that was the issue. But it only includes one, so I had to buy more. If you are planning on plugging these into something like a cell phone, you shouldn't have an issue. Laptop, camera, sound recorder...You might need the conversion cable. OK, how about the pros? Well, they sound pretty good to my ears. Not a ton of self-noise, bass of serviceable (I mean, it's not great but what do you expect from a lav?). Also, the cables are long AND extension cables are included. It comes with extra pairs of wind muffs, which is handy because those things can sometimes pop off and fall into inter-dimensional rifts. Also, the magnetic clip is handy and the magnets are strong enough to not worry about them falling off.
