Photos haven’t done Makena justice. This doll is truly pretty. I like her face, her deep dark complexion, her hair and her outfit. I’m really happy I purchased her.She is my first American Girl and now I understand why people love this brand. She is well stuffed. She stands on her own unassisted. She sits nicely. The vinyl of her limbs and face feels great and qualitative.

Bought this for an angel tree little girl. The doll is beautiful. Her hair is soft and it is a very good quality. These dolls are expensive but in my experience with others they do hold well.
