Why are these shoes good for little kids beginning to walk?

Our shoes are developed with doctors and approved by APMA. Crafted with zero-drop, flexible soles and a wide foot-shaped toe box, they have a wide opening for easy on and durable toe caps to provide extra protection for new walkers.

How does sizing work? Do I need to add room for growth?

Shoe sizes vary between brands, so it is best to measure your child’s foot and confirm with our size guide! We already account for extra room when matching your child’s foot length to their Ten Little size in our size guide.

Do these shoes come in different widths?

No, but our shoes have adjustable velcro straps to obtain the proper fit. They were designed to mimic the 3D shape of a kids’ foot with plenty of wiggle room and have been successfully tested with a variety of foot shapes, including wide and narrow.

When should I size up? How do I confirm my child’s shoe fit?

Expect to size-up every 2-3 months at this stage. Check the fit of your Ten Little shoes by using the removable insoles. Your child’s longest toe should land within the cheetah print line. If their toes go past the line at all, it’s time to size up!

We use materials that are friendly for your child and the environment, cruelty-free and approved vegan by PETA. They are tested to ensure they are safe and exceed the standards for children’s products. They are free of phthalates and heavy metals.
