Excellent results (for a while)
For some time I have been looking for an alternative to a steam wand for getting good micro foam in milk. My wife and I drink a mocha latte every day. I got decent results with the steam wand on the Breville Bambino Plus, but I wanted a standalone alternative. I had tried the Maestri House unit and several wands. The Maestri House is good at producing large amounts of thick foam for a cappuccino, but I could never get it to create micro foam for lattes. Well, the Dreo does this perfectly. It is very high quality micro foam that is smooth and silky. It has a distinct creamy mouth feel that is unmistakable. For best results use whole milk. This is a great product that does exactly what it claims to do. EDIT: 05-07-2025 Out of the box this is a great product. Unfortunately, it is built to a price point that, at least in my case, meant that its performance did not last. I have had this for about 4 1/2 months using it it almost daily, and it is no longer creating the excellent microfoam it did when new. Moreover, it is no longer even able to heat the milk sufficiently. New, I consistently got milk in the 140-150F range. Today, I measured 114F at the end of the cycle. Very disappointing. I can no longer recommend this product.

Great Value
Been using this for months and it hasn't let me down yet. We did get a part that was defective - the stirring bit with the coil wasn't sealed and took on milk but the company got us a replacement part without question. Great customer service and so far it has been a really good product. The wife is very happy with it.

Probably the best at-home coffee purchase i’ve ever made
I saw someone using the BaristaMaker in a video on social media and it intrigued me. I’ve purchased several types of frothers in the past and every one made coffee foam with big bubbles that deflated quickly and turned back into regular milk. I had kind of given up hope that I would be able to find an at-home frother that would give me the same milk experience as being at a coffee shop. With that being said, I could not be more pleased with this purchase. I first tried the frother with the thick cold foam setting on and I loved the results. I was able to make two iced lattes with the amount of milk at the “minimum” setting. I’ve been testing adding other ingredients such as a splash of maple syrup or some cinnamon and everything has blended well with this product. Today for the first time I used the hot latte feature and was prepared to be disappointed. The cold foam was great but i’ve never had a good experience with hot latte milk. After using this feature, not only was I able to make the PERFECT latte at home, but the milk actually STAYED frothed in my coffee. I let it sit for a good 10 minutes or so in my coffee cup just to see and the milk was still frothed! I was truly shocked! I can’t wait to try the cappuccino setting as lattes can be a bit too much milk for me at times but WOW. This frother is truly a game changer for me. One small recommendation for anyone who loves a little convenience… if you purchase frozen coffee pods through Cometeer, you can defrost one of the pucks in the microwave for a minute and use that as your espresso and paired with the milk frothed through the BaristaMaker it seriously is the PERFECT latte. Could not be happier with this purchase.

Light use but not functioning in 2 years
It's good till you experienced its life span is only about 2 years. I only use once everyday, it start turning on itself while plug in for about a week, over heat once my milk became really hot, now it just stop doing anything. I bought another one last year as a gift. I hope that one doesn't break down so fast.

Amazing addition to our breakfast station
Bought this for my wife’s birthday, but I use it every day. Milk frothing aside, this has made the best cup of cacao coming out of our kitchen hands down. The stirring function is perfect for mixing drinks of the like. We also drink oat milk and this was able to create nice, hot foam without issue, but we never fill it above the “min” line. My latte art skills are non-existent, but it gets the job done. My only issue is that our first one started giving an E2 error within the first few days of usage. Dreo customer service pointed me back at Amazon who promptly replaced the unit. We are about a week into the second one with no issues, so I assume we got a lemon the first time. Pro tip on a solid cup of cacao: oat milk to min line > water to above latte art line > two scoops of cacao powder + 1 scoop sugar + dash of powdered cinnamon + dash of vanilla extract + sprinkle of anise seeds. Strain when complete. That stands alone just fine, but do a second run and froth oat milk to take it to the next level. Holy smokes… 🤤

Absolutely obsessed!
This is such a perfect little machine, I'm not sure why anyone would bother with any of the alternatives out there for foaming/frothing/heating milk (including steam wands on espresso machines). It super easy to use, with perfect results every time (I've been using whole cow milk thus far). The biggest plus is that clean-up is a breeze. I had actually tried the Subminimal Nanofoamer Pro (V2) first and while the quality of the foam was nice the clean-up was way too finicky as was the set up. The Dreo's screen and UI makes it a pleasure to use with no guesswork involved. I pair this with my faithful Aeropress and have been enjoying better-than-cafe quality cappuccinos on the daily. Love this little machine so much I'm now gifting it to friends and family, so buy with confidence.

Life is Easy Again!!!
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife so we can trash our gross milk frother wand. This milk frother does it all its so impressive, but what made me give 5 stars is everything is truly dishwasher safe!!! OH MY GOD LIFE IS EASY AGAIN!!! And we have clean coffee tools again! Ahhhhhh... Sweet release. It's worth the price by ten fold, i would recommend this to everyone.

Finicky so far
OK, try to keep this short… I just ordered another one so the company is responding to my difficulties. With that said I just ordered my third one twice, the motor isn’t working properly. It’s very important that when you want to froth for it to be proper to what your desires are if you want a thick frost, that’s what you should get if you want creamy thick frost for a latte thin white or cappuccino that’s what you should get. Multiple times the motor decided to do whatever it felt like doing lol I was very pleased when I did get a thick froth or a cappuccino. There are different attachments as well. The problem was when I put the milk in I would shake it vigorously whether it’s oat milk or regular milk 2% Lactaid sometimes the motor would rev up and for my ears, you could hear a certain speed then close to the end it would increase for a short period of time and then back off that is what it should do because you want bring to bring air in and then mix that air throughout to create a creamy consistency whether or not you’re doing a thick frost or a cappuccino or flat white. But it was unpredictable and the motor would do whatever it wanted so it happened with my first one and a second and now I’ve ordered my third. So we shall see. OK, so I received this new one a few days ago and so far I am very pleased! So I wasn’t crazy! Lol although someone would say I am ha ha Update Definite difference in the motor sound especially doing the thick froth. You could tell right from the get-go That it revs up very quickly for part of the time and then slows down and in the last 30 seconds speeds up slightly, that’s what it’s supposed to do as opposed to the other one that started out very slow revved up for a few seconds and slowed down again that’s why I could not get the froth. Doing a cappuccino or a latte requires a definite creaminess to achieve its goal especially if you want to do coffee art. Anyway, so far so good hopefully three is a charm.
