This niacinamide serum is like a gel type and it doesn't have any tht particular scent or fragrance, it keeps my skin moist lock,and its worth of the money I spent on it, and it belongs into my skin within 1-2minutes , and I saw change in my dark spots and blemishes by next day morning, quality is superb, and it doesn't effect ur skin , it's a green light , safe for acne and sensitive skin like mine, go for it!! But there should be a proper skin care routine so I would recommend to apply these at night only
