Heater does not work. Tried with different USB-C power source. Light mentioned in the instruction manual never comes on. Total garbage.

This kit includes everything you will need to get going minus a USB charger to power the small wax heater. I found the heater to work really well and I was impressed how quickly it melted the wax and the indicator turned green. The resulting temperature was pretty spot on. If anything, slightly too hot, but I found this to be OK as it allowed time for spinning the applicator and getting the wax to the proper shape before applying it. The included wax is so-so. I wouldn’t say it is great by any means. It will do the job, but I found it definitely did not set as hard as other waxes I’ve used. I would recommend allowing extra time for it to cool. Otherwise, the kit works very well and I really like the USB based heating pot.

Pulls out a lot of hair

This unit is small and convenient. I love it, but there are some things I would definitely change up. First of all, the cord is much too small. It's a about 1' - 1 1/2' (ft) long. This is BARELY long enough to sit on the counter from the outlet, much-less go over the sink. This make it very awkward. It's too hot to hold for a long time and I ended up using a different cord alltogether. Luckily, it is USB C Second, the USB C port is wobbly at best. It doesn't seem secure and feels like it will break any second. Third, the wax gets too hot. I had to do multiple dips and let each dip cool between so I could get enough was on the applicator without it just running everywhere. This is fixed if I put 1/2 the beads of what I need in there and then when I'm ready to use it, mix hard beads in and then as soon as they melt (30 seconds or so), then mix it up and apply immediately. But then if I go back to do a second run or something, the wax is again too hot. Those things aside, this is a great little unit! The silicon liner is incredibly easy to remove wax from, and there is no messing around with water in the microwave or some little unit that isn't supposed to get wax in it at all. It's simple to use with no buttons and just the plug in (it DOES NOT come with a wall block!) The light is a clear indicator that the wax heater is on, and the lid fits securely. There are plenty of beads this comes with. It's fully-packed little bag of white wax beads that are not fragranced or anything. They are pure wax. It also comes with many sticks to use for either nose/ears or eyebrows or other areas. I used this on my eyebrows, chin, and my hubby's nose. My eyebrows came away so clean and beautiful! Once the wax cooled, I just bent the silicone liner away from the wax and threw away the rest (not much), although I'm sure I could also leave it in there to use next time. Either way, cleanup was a breeze and unlike the other types of units I've tried in the past. The after-care oil bottle could be slightly bigger, although a little goes a long way. it did soothe the areas I waxed and was a nice addition. It didn't come out too fast and wasn't overly runny. This made the application wonderfully easy.
