Too tight, too grippy and too expensive
This review is for the Niorasen Grip Socks, Football Socks for Men Women, Non Slip Sports Socks Wicking Breathable, Cushioned Athletic Socks Slipper Socks for Soccer Basketball Hiking Running Yoga Cricket Rugby (9-12, Black)£5.99 at the time of reviewI take a size 9 so I expected these socks to be a little loose, but in fact, they are quite a tight fit around the shins and because they are size 9-12, I really had to pull them hard to get my toes to fit into the ends. The silicon grips are very prominent and they grip wooden and laminate flooring really well, but this is also a downside to them. The grips are so prominent that it takes some effort to get your foot inside a shoe because they don’t slide in like a normal sock does. I have been wearing them a lot with pair of work boots with steel toe caps, and the silicon pads are so adhesive, one of the socks has pulled the insole out of one of my shoes when I was trying to take my boots off.I also found the extra added height, even though it is only a few millimetres, made my whole shoe feel tighter on my feet. The openings are elasticated, but the weave is very tight as well and I must admit to getting quite noticeable compression rings around my legs with them. I also think that although the material costs and manufacturing must be higher than normal, these are expensive socks and much more than I would normally pay.For me though, the compression is too high, the silicon pads grip too much and they are too expensive, so all in all, 3 stars from me. Sorry, but I’m not a fan of them.

Comfortable with good grip
My 15-year-old plays in defence for his high school football team, he has various matches with other local school teams and they have won both the two matches they’ve played this term. Naturally, he’s always injured or needs new shin pads, socks, or football boots, so when I came across these socks, I thought they’d be perfect for him.The socks are indeed good quality, the material is soft and thick and they offer good cushioning and grip when running. This is thanks to the non-slip silicone pads which really do help with quick movements and dribbling. They’re stretchy and comfortable to wear and they offer a compression arch support which provides additional support and comfort.Perhaps the only thing he wasn't too keen on, was the arrow design at the back of the socks and would have preferred them in plain white, but other than that, these are a good pair of socks and not just for football, but other sports and outdoor games.

Super comfty and amazing grip
I wear these in the gym when I'm on the smooth platforms for squats and deadlifts when I want to go flat foot, and they are amazing. Not only are they super comfy and snug, but the rubber bits at the bottom provide amazing grip compard to normal sports socks where your sliding around the place all the time.Although I've not tried, these would be perfect if you found yourself playing a sport or running around a laminate style sports hall etc too, or even if you have kids running and playing around the home on laminate flooring. I'd recommend them.
