Ordered 4 so far
Best value. Great sword builders. I bought 4 and will reprofile 2. Simply cause there's soo much steel. Good quality though and for price you can't beat

Great blade just buy it.
Sharpened it and changed the point geometry and it's my best/favorite sword to date.

Solid, but not Very Detailed
I got this for my husband, who of course, has an interest in swords. This is a great budget option for those that want to put a sword on display, but don't necessarily want top quality prices. It is made of solid metal, and has a nice worn detailing on the blade. It is greased to protect the metal, as well. The handle is where the detailing starts to show that this would be a budget sword. The leather is plain, new, without worn detailing. The end also has an Allen screw, so you start to lose that medieval feel to it. Even still, this is a good sword to put on display, and is not sharpened.

Edge not sharp
After my first review I cleaned some of the scale off left from heat treatment. I then decided to do a some light pell workout. Blade itself is fine but th tang has a threaded end welded on for the pommel to be attached. It didn't survive, to broke off. The pommel fell to the ground. If it was not for the handle pin/ bolt the sword would have came out of my hand. Very dis satisfied... bad thing is I've tried to get help but none given.. sword mod time I guess..

WAY better than I expected!
To begin, I must make it clear that this review is comparing it to the price and other swords of similar price. This sword is a great sword for its price. That being said, I went into this purchase knowing that this wasn't going to be some museum piece. I wasn’t expecting a hand forged masterpiece, just a cheap piece of steel. To this, I was pleasantly surprised. It seems to be a decent quality steel, and it looks and feels like a sword which is better than I expected. It’s a good length to act as a hand and a half sword, with enough room to squeeze two hands on the handle. The handle is a perfect for me. The blade is straight and has a nice spring and bounce to it, the blade is perfectly straight, it is coated in a lot of grease, but this can be wiped off rather easily. Overall, I think this sword is one of the best for the price point it is. It does have some modern twists that a traditionalist may not care for, but the handle is comfy and well executed, there is zero slop or big gaps, no rattles, wobbles, or fear that this thing is going to fly in half if I try to use it or develop a permanent bend. I feel like with a few minutes at the grinding and polishing wheel this thing would become a legit sword. I'm super happy with this one!

Impressive Medieval steel sword
The sword is great in a lot of ways. It is made out of steel and has a little weight to it for a good feel. It is referenced as a practice sword, since it is dull but no LARPing around here is practicing with a sword like this. Even dull, you wouldn't want to be hit or poked with it. Cosplay sounds more reasonable, especially if you are just going to private events like your friends or your own LARPing group. A lot of public events will frown on a sword like this, even dulled. So I would check the rules if you don't personally know they people running the event. Anyway, this sword is fantastic, especially for the price. The handle has a good grip so great for the "practice sword" thing but a roll of tape is included to wrap the sword in a more authentic manner for cosplay. The blade comes heavily oiled and wrapped in plastic. Once unwrapped and cleaned, I'd plan on oiling it routinely to care for it.

Such a great piece!
Id'd be certainly careful about using this sword for a costume piece, particularly if going to a party that will be serving "adult beverages" as this thing could cut someone! It's legit - hand forged steel, leather wrapped handle, and a blade ready to introduce to the mother-in-law's black heart. Great craftmanship and ready to be displayed or used in battle.

Great Sword!
This is a great sword for cosplay and going to the Ren Fair or just hanging on the wall for display. In contrast to some of the other reviewers I feel the aesthetic fits well with an armory or guardsman's sword, The never fully polished and now stained steal has likely survived more than one bearer but spent most of it's life in storage, recently sharpened and wrapped in a new grip for the young lad it's being assigned to now. Note that the blade is not sharp and has a good flat edge, just the coloring shows an appropriate shine that you'd see on a recently sharpened blade. The Allan screws do take away from the display aspect but as the product description states they allow for a DIY customizability though I haven't tried taking the pommel off to explore that myself yet. Anyone using this for stage combat will want to consider a grippier wrap and possibly adjust the pommel weight to their preferences. The center of gravity is about 4 1/2 inches in front of the guard so as is will be easy for most adults to handle comfortably.
