Magnifier Lamp Permanent Flat Mount - Work Light Mounting Bracket / Clamp for Desk Magnifying Light

Was looking for something to hold my lamp onto my bench. The usual clamps won't work since there is thicker trim around the table top. Works well and looks well made.

Works great for a permanent fixture for my magnifying lamp.

Unlike the cheap plastic one I bought first; and that immediately broke in half, within the first 30 seconds of (attempted) use.Expensive... but imminently functional.Recommended.

The flat-surface mount is larger than it looks in the photos, and more sturdy than most such mounts from other lamp vendors. Except for the plastic bushing in the center, it's metal. (My lamp came with an all-plastic flat-surface mount that's wimpy in comparison.) This mount will outlast the lamp that goes into it. Two minor gripes, and why I didn't give it five stars: 1) it doesn't come with mounting screws; and 2) mine had a burr of rough metal in one of the mounting holes that I had to clear out with a dremel tool.

This is for the FLAT BASE MOUNT. Got this for my Brightech LightView PRO LED 2.25x Magnifying Glass Clamp Lamp. I was using the side mount that came with this lamp, but wanted to be able to move the lamp to the other side which side was blocked. The mount is very solid. No issues.The delivery was also fast. It took about 3 days to arrive. Based on Amazon/USPS tracking, it came from Chanhassen, MN. I live in Las Vegas. So they sent it by first-class mail.

At first I thought the price for this unit was pretty expensive. But the all metal construction and the weight of the unit itself shows how well made this lamp base really is. I mounted this to my work bench and I don't worry about bending the bracket or moving my lamp in any direction. Probably worth every bit of $20, but not sure about $30. That may be taking advantage of you, but the unit does work, so maybe there is a price to pay for peace of mind.

The fit is too tight and I will have to modify the plastic insert to fit the lamp. This should not be a recommended product for the item above.

Have been using both the lamp and the bracket for a few months now and couldn't be happier with both. Clamp is strong, easy to mount and does the job. Nice powder coat/paint surface matches both the lamp and my desk. Well made, sturdy, nice looking, easy to mount and works like a champ. Very happy with purchase - would purchase again.
