About Home Herringbone Cotton Blanket Throw, Settee Cover (TEAL/Natural, 50"x60")

Fabulous blanket, big enough for a double bed, lovely design....But.... It gives off a loose fibre that floats in the air and gets in your throat. We've washed the blanket and tumble dried it 3 times to no avail. Its such a shame because it is really lovely, but unusable in fact bordering on dangerous if you have a breathing condition, made us both cough. I have mild copd and it had me wheezing... Great shame...

Not as described in the advert. Items were full of snags and the quality of the material was very poor. They have been returned but the seller has made no contact or given a full refund for throws and return postage.

This product was perfect when I bought it, however after washing there was significant shrinkage and it no longer reaches both sides of the sofa properly. Previously I was able to tuck it into the sides to hold it in place and it was able to cover the arms, now I can only tuck it in a bit and it still doesn’t cover the arms. I did follow the washing instructions and it’s a shame this happened, hence giving 3 Stars under ‘value for money’.

I ordered these to cover over the seats of my fabric sofas. Previous reviews have stated that they smell and cast off fibres. I have given mine a 40 degree cotton wash and a good long tumble dry. I added the Lenor Unstoppables to the wash and the throw is perfect. I'm sure the smell was just because it's made of natural fibres and is hand woven. I'm very very happy with these. They are very big and Cozy. I would most definitely recommend.

Love this throw. My sofa was looking shabby but is still very comfortable. This has covered the 3 seater and now it looks smart and cosy! It does not cover the arms but I didn't want this, if you want to cover these, you will need the bigger one. It doesn't smell either which sometimes they do!

extremely good quality throws, heavyweight so should provide good protection from my unruly pets on the settee!! Delivery was very fast and they were very well packaged. Yes there is a slight smell but I have washed them and it has nearly gone. As the product is cotton it is a natural product and is bound to have a slight odour until it has been washed a couple of times. I am very pleased with them.

This throw is the third one I have bought for our sofas to protect them from dog hairs etc. The first two were much thicker and a nice contrast of colour - both the other two were a larger size and maybe from a different supplier. This one is definitely a thinner fabric and more open weave and sadly already the dogs have pulled threads from it. It isn't a big deal as it is only to throw over a little used sofa, but I would not buy this particular throw again. Saying that, it is perfectly okay for the price and it washes really well.

Really good quality throw at an amazing price. I ordered mine in 260cm×260cm size. I've been able to double it up and cover the seating cushions of a three-seater sofa. Perfect solution for a fabric sofa that shares a home with a toddler. I'll be ordering a smaller size for my armchair too. I've already recommended it to a friend.
