I was looking for a healthy snack option that I could bring to work and not have to refrigerate. This checks all the boxes! Healthy, convenient packaging, shelf stable and delicious. I recommend!

As someone that loves hummus, I wasn't sure how I'd feel about getting some that didn't need to be refrigerated. I received a roasted red pepper flavor, and wow, it didn't disappoint. The hummus was creamy, smooth, and had the right amount of smoky flavor from the red peppers. The breadsticks are very neutral, which I guess is a good thing to let the flavor of the hummus shine. I used veggies with it, too. My whole family enjoyed trying this, and we all agreed it's really tasty and would've enjoyed a lot more of it!

I typically make my own hummus, and I'm good at it, sooooo... I hope this rocks. This is a quick grab and go lunch version of hummus, with mini breadsticks and a single serve container of hummus. (Fact check: Anything can be single serve if you try hard enough.) You can push the hummus from the bottom to remove the seal, then set it back into the tray. I might already be looking for ways to reuse this, because it's cute. The fire roasted red pepper hummus has a decent enough flavor, smooth and creamy with a hint of pepper but not overpowering. The breadsticks are very bland, and while I understand their purpose as a carrier for the hummus, I'm not impressed and would prefer store bought crackers or pita instead. I'd eat this if it were on hand, but not go out of my way for it. Other local store brands have a better consistency and flavor profile.

I really liked this little snack pack! It comes in a convenient package, with a hummus cup and a set of breadsticks; the hummus cup actually pops out of the breadstick pack if you want it to, which is a fun detail. I love that it's shelf stable, so it makes it easy to keep in an office drawer for a healthy snack you didn't have to buy from a vending machine. I tested the roasted red pepper flavor. They nailed it with the hummus: it tastes just as good as the roasted red pepper hummus I buy at my local store in the refrigerated section, and there's a lot of it. The tub is about the size of an apple sauce or fruit cup and is full to the brim, so you're not going to go hungry here. The breadsticks were... fine? The flavor on them was very neutral; they aren't really salted or flavored, presumably to let the flavor of the hummus shine through, but they definitely felt unremarkable in comparison to the star of the show. When I finished the breadsticks, I had about a quarter cup of the hummus left, so I probably should have done more double dipping as I ate. I ended up using the last breadstick as a spoon to eat the remaining hummus, which was totally fine as a solution; 2-3 more breadsticks would have been appreciated, though. If this kit had mini croccantini style flatbread crackers instead of the breadsticks, it would have been next level and earned five stars. As it is, I still really, really liked this kit and would cheerfully stock it in my pantry for snacking on the go without refrigeration if the price was right. We also had the opportunity to try the Za'atar Hummus in the larger size. I liked the flavor of that, too, although I actually felt it could be a little bolder. We debated sprinkling a bit of za'atar on top of this after opening it, and I think that would be a nice garnish your guests would appreciate. It's quite the novelty to find shelf-stable hummus in this size, and I think it would be a fantastic inclusion in a picnic basket, camping trip or for an outdoor party.
