Q: Does this have coil whine? is it noisy? i'm looking for a reliable , silent psu.

Zero coil whine. I've only used mine upto around 650W, and under that load it is completely silent. The fan does spin up noisily when first powering on the PC, but that self-test only lasts a few seconds when first powering on.

Q: slot 1 to 6 Peripheral & sata , Which one is for sata and Peripheral molex ?

For ports labeled Peripheral and SATA, they support either connection.

Q: The power cord in my unit doesn't fit snugly, there is quite a lot of play. Is this normal or did I get a faulty cable at this "bargain" price?

Cable should be firmly seated with no play.

Q: Is the psu 100% atx 3.0 (pcie5) standard for the latest gpus on a single smart cable? if not, is there another 1500w titanium that is?

It's ATX 2.0 but can run a atx3.0 GPU using the adapter that comes with the card , you will need to use 4 individual cables for it do not use the pig tails they are not designed for it
