It actually does not work like a normal lock. Usually a lock is stationary, large and imposing meant to protect valuable tangibles. This lock is easy to use. It is meant to provide easy access. If you figure out the controls it functions unlike anything i have seen. I think for someone who i trying to keep privacy it is ideal. It actually changes my defintion of a lock becuase it is all about privacy and can be used for small things. You dont need a key so it can be used on the go. The mechanics are easy to learn and once you figure it out it works well with normal locks because you will find uses for it you didnt expect. You can have this and still keep your old locks. Since you dont need a key and only a thumb you can get creative with its use.

I wanted a padlock to childproof a cupboard with medication and cleaning supplies, as a high bolt was no longer enough. As it's used multiple times a day, a key would be inconvenient. Enter this fingerprint lock, which was easy to set up.The authorized adults can open it easily whenever needed, and no matter how enterprising the child, the cupboard cannot be opened otherwise. We are using these on two cupboards.Followup: The first lock stopped responding after about 18 months of frequent use (approx. 6-10 times a day). Even fully charged it would try, but fail, to open. I bought bolt cutters to take it off, and just ordered another as replacement.

The fingerprint sensor only kinda works sometimes. After 10 minutes of trying at my gym locker, I just twisted the lock off

So far so good. It's a very good price for the wifi camera compare with the other expensive ones. It's super easy to set up. You have to make sure it close to the wifi router. I can see the camera and what's going on in my house when I'm not home. The picture is clear and good. I am very happy with this camera.

I noticed that the lock would open for any one of my fingers. i only set up the lock for my thumb. i also asked a random person at the gym to see if the lock would open for their fingerprint. it did. that’s not very secure is it?

Everytime I have charged it and tried to use it at the gym it has never worked. It works immediately after I take it off the charger then nothing. Maybe mine is broken. Otherwise seems like a great idea and value for your money if it works.

The product is awesome our instructions were in German so we had to use Google translate with pictures to figure it out which was not ideal but once it was programmed it's super easy to use!
