Perfect for what I needed
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for something I could use to record my commute on my bike after a few close calls with crazy drivers. I initially looked at the meta Ray-Bans but they couldn't do the thing I needed the most which was record continuous video (especially without having to live stream it). After comparing a bunch of different Amazon options ranging from $45 to $180, this one is by far the best option and it would have been even if it wasn't the LOWEST priced option (that just ended up being a bonus). You cannot see the camera which is a HUGE plus that many of the other options didn't have. I'm not even trying to record anyone/anything secretly, but it obviously freaks people out when they can see a camera on your glasses, so this feature prevents me from having to take them off anytime I stop and interact with people. The only thing that may indicate that they aren't regular glasses is the fact that when you are in "standby" mode there is a very small light that you may be able to notice reflecting off of my cheek in the right lighting. But that is only when they are ON, but not recording, so you can just turn them off when you aren't recording (which is very quick and easy) if that bothers you. As far as the footage quality, it is not 4K, but it is more than sufficient for what I need especially outdoors during the day. Indoors in poor lighting lowers the quality making it a bit grainy so that is something to consider if that is what you need it for, but still, it isn't terrible, just a bit worse. It is very lightweight considering, and the arms of the glasses are just thicker than regular glasses, but it isn't something that really sticks out. I prefer the fact that they are clear lenses, not tinted, but obviously that is another thing to consider if you prefer sunglasses (I don't). You also get PLENTY of juice on a charge, I was able to record for about 90 minutes continuously. Charging takes between 3 and 4 hours from dead to fully charged, I wasn't watching it like a hawk, I just know it was less than 4 and more than 3. As far as pulling up the footage it is VERY easy on my MacBook, once you plug it in you see a folder pop up that has 2 folders (photos & videos), and a text file which is how you adjust the date/time and the simultaneous recording time (how long you want each video clip to be before it saves and starts a new video). The one SMALL issue I have is with the format of the date (you can see it in the bottom corner of my video) it is year/month/day which can be a little confusing as it is not standard for us in the US but really not a big deal, and you don't have to have the date appear in the footage at all if you don't want it to. The charger/data transfer cable is USB to (the one that is older than micro-usb but similar size, not sure the name) so you will need a USB-C adapter if you want to transfer to your phone or MacBook but I got one on Amazon for $5. Other than that, it is a Great buy considering price, functionality, stealth, comfort, and ease of use. I highly recommend!

Horrible video quality and performance
The media could not be loaded. Do not buy these glasses if you want to shoot quality video and pictures inside buildings (quality is about average outside). The glasses I've got produce very grainy videos and pictures with poor focusing. But my main complain is time keeping! You can not rely on it if it is important to you. After setting date and time in the evening the time was off -10 min next morning on all my videos. A couple of days later it was not even close to real time. After connecting watches to a computer they tried to synchronize with a computer clock (Very interesting! This future is not mentioned in the manual). But time was set off 20min (see pictures). And the last: I was not able to start recording from stand by mode when video shooting was paused. The blue light remained on after pressing the button once. It went off after 3rd attempt, but recording did not continue. The glasses shut off instead. It happened only once, but I can't be sure the fault will not repeat again.

You Get What You Pay For
First off, the glasses are comfortable to wear and I got a lot of compliments on them. The lenses have a nice coating that gives them an extra layer of "cool". The come with everything you need, although I would recommend using a faster, higher quality, larger capacity micro sd card over the one that is included. The video quality is "good enough" I tried using these to serve process papers so that I would have good video documentation of the interaction. Highlights are blown out, even on cloudy days, and the video is noisy at best. Sound quality is also good enough. Here are the things that might help you decide whether or not these glasses will suit your purposes: The video will be practically unusable in low light conditions. You may be able to upscale it if you're good at that type of thing. The clips are limited to 3 min apiece, but it starts another clip as soon as the previous one has reached its limit. -Which means you will have to stitch them all together if you want a longer file. The micro-sd card is really hard to get out of the temple of the glasses. I knew I was in trouble when I saw included plastic tweezers. In order to extract it, I had to push the temple that houses the card into the right lens to release tension. I wouldn't make it a regular thing because the wear and tear of doing this could very well pop out the lens, or weaken the hinge between the frame and the temple. Fortunately, you can connect it directly to your computer via the included USB cable. -Which brings me to probably my biggest nitpick, -the cable is USB-A to Micro-USB. Both connection types are vastly becoming more and more obsolete, so if you have a late model computer with only USB-C, you'll need an adapter. Given, this connection type, file transfer is about half as fast. The biggest issue I had was that the controls are fiddly. Setting it up in standby so that it is ready to record and then actually initiating a recording is hit or miss. It may go to sleep before you begin recording, or you may inadvertently take a whole bunch of jpgs. For $50, these glasses are more a novelty than anything. I just wish there was something that was between this price point and the RB Meta glasses because the latter is just a lot more money than I want to spend for my purposes, even though I know it will probably yield the highest quality results out of anything else currently on the market.
