Haven't had the chance to wear these for fishing yet, mostly for sun protection. You only burn you hands badly once on the water, won't make that mistake again. The fit is perfect and better than The " one size fits most" type. I have a average small to avg ladies hand and I bought the med. worked well, great sturdy construction and I like the color choice, good company that makes these, really want your feedback on the item. I believe I made a good choice.

These are exactly what they claim to be! They are very comfortable, lightweight for summer activities and of all natural materials - I got no rashes anywhere, or blisters from not wearing gloves kayaking hard for 2 hours in a deep lake on a windy day. My boyfriend now wants a pair in his size...For the review stating they were worn out from walking a dog, these are not gloves for walking the dog, household or yard chores. They are not supposed to have friction from rough fabrics on the top of them, they have the friction protective material on the palm for biking, kayaking, golf...any summer sport. They are excellent for this! A great value!

I live in the desert southwest. My dermatologist noticed several patches of skin on my hands that were precancerous and she recommended wearing gloves while driving. She said people don’t realize how much sun exposure hands get while driving. Long story short, I use these gloves for sun protection while driving. I used the size chart to order and I’m glad I did or I wouldn’t have ordered the small size. The gloves are very comfortable with a snug fit. I like the Velcro at the wrist which keeps the gloves in place. The palm has a slight padding grip fabric and the gloves have two little loops to pull for easy removal. I’m very happy I got these and not a cheaper pair.

I'm Irish and live in California. Since I already have lots of freckles, light almost see-thru skin on my hands, I need to do more than put on sunblock to stop getting pre-cancer spots and just brown "age spots" on both hands. These gloves do the trick. I've had them for a few weeks and worn them hiking, bicycling and driving the car. Easy on/off and I presume easy to wash. Color seems masculine to me but since they are dark colored, they don't show dirt at all. I'm a woman with smaller hands and narrow wrists so the size small gloves fit snugly while comfortable.

Love it for tennis. My palms sweat a lot causing me to lose grip. These gloves, I use just one for my tennis hand, eliminating the sweaty grip issue. I love them. Easy to hand wash or throw into the washing machine. They air dry over night. I wash them after I get home and they show little sign of wear. This is my second pair. I lost the first pair after a year and ordered another pair right away. I imagine it works as well for the other uses listed. No more grip issue. The gloves do not create a feel issue as my fingers are not covered completely.

Used for Kayaking. Great for Sun and Comfort, but did NOT prevent blisters on both of my thumbs. My sizing was right according to chart. Seem to be fine for my wife (size small) and my daughter (size medium). Possibly a tighter fit if I moved from XL to L would have worked. They are what you see in the pictures and where a kayak paddle would rest and rub there is not much extra protection. So if you measure 9” or even a bit higher, I would try the large for a tighter fit. Personally, I’m going to try and find a glove with more protection for paddling in the thumb area where the paddle rests. I am A novice paddler, so possibly it was form that contributed, but I would have expected the gloves to help protect from getting a blister...2 out of 3 seemed fine. Buy to fit tighter. If at high end of size on chart but that size. If on low end of size of chart, but the next size down. Or better yet, by both sizes and keep the ones that fit snug.

These worked out very well. I just bought a second pair so that when these get wet I can put dry ones on. Great price. To be determined how well they hold up. But comfortable and lightweight.

Bought these for kayaking, comfortable and lightweight. I don't know how I've been kayaking for years without gloves. Fit is perfect, and prevents any rubbing or potential blisters on my hands. Sizing chart is spot on, I measured exactly between a small and medium, as suggested went for the size up, and the mediums have fit perfectly. Already ordered a second backup pair as I slightly snagged the first on velcro from my binocular case. Very happy with my purchase.
