I bought this as a beginner jump rope. It works well. It's easy to shorten as I'm 5'1". I have used it for a couple of weeks now. It doesn't get tangle. It's easy to hold & I recommend it. I had a really cheap one & I didn't realize jump ropes really make a difference. I don't think it is built for speed, but I do think it is a good beginner jump rope.

Fast shipping. Works great and the 6mm pvc rope is high quality. Never tangles. Updated-1/12/2026 ordered another one cause I left it somewhere lol. I really like this rope. Probably add another inch on the handles.

Too light. Not the weight I expected it to be. I believe the one I received is less than 6mm.

My husband and I just recently got into jump roping and we wanted to get good quality ropes to start off with. I've jump roped before but it's been a while so I consider myself a beginner. The last time I used a rope I was using a cheap, generic rope I was given when taking kickboxing lessons and it wasn't very good. It tended to tangle a lot and it wasn't adjustable. This rope is exactly what I was looking for. I didnt need anything fancy, just something that works without tangling, is built well, easy to adjust, and is durable, and this rope is exactly that. It's so easy to follow the instructions to adjust the ropes and the end result is much nicer and tidyer than just tying knots on the rope at each end. I'm only 5'1" and I did have to cut off quite a bit of rope to size it properly. So far I find that it's weighted just right for me. Overall happy with the rope and hoping to get a lot of use out of it.
