Quality was great. The straps were thick. Very impressed with the construction. However, it was too small. The strap fit around the girth but the harness looked unproportioned. It's like they used the same harness body but lengthened the straps around the girth to change the size. They should have made the body bigger for each size. The reflective harness in front was too high. It fit like a choker on our Saint Bernard. See picture. Our Saint Bernard looks ridiculous in it. It's just not right, right? This harness in the smaller sizes would be perfectly proportioned for smaller dogs. If you have a big dog, don't buy.

I usually dont do reviews that are 3 stars but. I gave it 3 stars for quality and construction PROBLEM IS the design is defective. I have a small mixed breed that is working with a trainer. We measured carefully before ordering but when we tried to get it clipped my puppy cringed and wouldnt move. Trainer felt it was the large buckle that came right at her leg joint. It kept her from moving right. I then ordered the next size up but same reaction. Finally we agreed it was the buckle placement. Never should be located by her leg joint. I am writing this in hopes that manufacturer will redesign buckle placement to top.

Bought this for my therapy dog, who has been fully trained with veteran service dog organizations.I hate seeing people buy this for a fake service dog! My legal service dog has been attacked by 3 fake service dogs wearing one of these, posing as a service dog.DO NOT BUY FOR A FAKE SERVICE DOG!VETERANS RELY ON THEIR REAL SERVICE DOGS DAILY, and your fake service animal (your pet) needs to stay home.

This is great! lets folks know, that he is a working dog. He loves to be around people and children and loves the petting and hugs.I was happy to receive this harness, it looks better in person. The harness is very well made. Fits well on my Golden Retriever and he is comfortable wearing it. He can move freely with no rubbing of the harness.He is currently in training to be a Therapy dog. He will be visiting: nursing homes, schools for handicapped children and adults, also he will be teaching children how to STOP DROP and ROLL through the fire department's education program. He will be visiting the wounded veterans, and some areas of the hospital's. Last but not least he will help me teach children in the schools, how to be a responsible pet owner, bite safety, and who to tell if they see a stray or injured animal. He has learned many tricks and is doing well in his beginners class. God willing, he will be able to bring a smile and comforting hugs to many, and help them to forget about their pains and worries, even for just a little while. Deacon and I will be able to leave from a visit, knowing that we have helped someone feel better, smile, and leave good memories, until the next visit.I am still waiting on the two extra Velcro patches, that say in training. These were to be shipped with the harness. I will send a reminder to the folks that make this great harnessThank You,Sandy C.

This harness is a thing of beauty but unfortunately it has no place on the front to clip a leash which is what my dog is used to. Clipping to the top of the harness just makes her pull.But the most important issue, and the reason I returned this item, is that it was absurdly easy for my dog to just back up and pull herself out of this. She may be a therapy dog but she's still a puppy and can be a rascal and she thinks escape is hilarious, so this was the wrong harness for her.

This vest was just too big for my tiny Chihuahua. It looked heavy on her and just wasn't the style that I imagined I wanted. I found measuring less than helpful - It's so hard to tell what you will be getting for something like this so it seems to be more trial and error. I think I would lean toward ordering one of 2 or 3 sizes and then picking the best instead of getting one, sending it back, getting another, sending it back and FINALLY getting what you want.

Great vestVest is true to size chart.I love the rich color and the reflective patches. This vest identifies my dog well as a working dog. Vest seems comfortable for my dog to wear and is easy to take on and off. I leave the front reflective velco strip connected and just slip the vest over his head and buckle it in place.

Zoe is working on being a Therapy Dog and this Harness is Great. I am proud to see her in it LUV the velcro it is strong and heavy, no worries about it falling or being pulled off her so easly. Also, the patches that came with it are AWESOME as well. She just turned One year old the 16th, of this month, and she has grown into it so well. I am really pleased with it and If I ever had to order another one I would not hesitate to do so. I LUV that the patches say Therapy Dog In Training, this has helped alot when someone thinks she is so cute and wants to pet her they see the Harness on her and they will ask before approaching her, before they would just come up to her and start petting her without asking. This is the third therapy harness iv bought, we are now on the medium size. My puppy is growing fast so i skipped a size and got this one. It is a little big but i know it wont be long. This is amazing to put on, so quick and simple! The buckle is huge and although other family members have remarked on its size, for me its perfect. My pup doesnt mind the harness, it seems to be very comfortable on her. The small D ring on the back for attaching the leash is very thick which will require a new leash as my clasp wont fit. The harnesd itself is very well made, though unlike the smaller ones, this one didnt have the rubber handle, just the webbing which can be quite tough on the hands after a long period.All in all its a worthwhile harness and thr color is fantastic.

Trying to figure out how to put the neck part on the dog once I got it. It fit no problem very pleased.
