Incredible
I met this lady a few years ago in deadwood South Dakota she was selling her book I couldn’t buy it at the time being on a bike no more room. I ordered it, what a incredible story, I love these type of motorcycle books. I just met a friend today from a outlaw MC called Hangmen (if you want another good read buy Hangmen by Dale Arenson, motorcycle outlaw club) anyway I told him about her book he said cool I’d love to read it.This book is awesome what a fun read, I actually passed it on to a neighbor who knows my husband and I ride, will be interesting how she likes it

Inspiring book
I loved this book. Gloria epitomizes the spirit that made America what it became during and after WWII. An amazing book, honest and not self-important bragging. She rode when it was a hard life, and she is still around, thank God.

Inspiring
I’ve read a lot of stories about people who ride all over. Either they started riding late in life or started riding again or never have stopped. This is Gloria Struck. So many people make their books about them but she some how makes it about the people she’s met. This woman has a zest for life and a great attitude in spite of the challenges she faced when she started and the challenges that any long distance rider faces such as breakdowns and bad weather and close calls. I highly recommend. I read the book in no time flat. It’s a page turner

Motorcycling from a Lifetime Rider's point of view
I love this book solely for the fact that it is written by a woman who was a pioneer in motorcycling - back when roads were sketchy, bikes had kick starts, oil leaked all over and not many females were riding. As a woman, I can see how much easier our riding life is today! The book is written in a conversational way as if you were sitting in a room with Gloria having a casual talk over a Jack Daniels. It is not a story that has a beginning, middle and end - though you do learn about Gloria's life through her riding tales. If you are interested in knowing what riding was like in the "old" days, you'll enjoy this book. Gloria is a gritty, strong, feisty woman who led the way for all us women who ride today.

Remarkable woman, remarkable history...but not remarkable writing.
Gloria’s story is quite remarkable, of course, she having motorcycled for so long and having had so many experiences. She’s a legendary figure. That said, her book could have used both a bit of copy editing and content editing. She wrote it, she remarked that it’s a bit of a ramble through various memories, and still knowing that, a better flow would improve the reader’s ability to experience her life. I recommend the book as a fascinating look at a pivotal figure within motorcycling history; just know that for the more discerning reader, the writing might somewhat distract you.

Amazing read
This book was such an amazing read. This book details Gloria's life from the moment that she first sat on a motorcycle till what it is like still riding in her 90's. It talks about all the adventures and accomplishments that she has achieved as well as the change in peoples perspectives throughout the years. This book needs to be read by anyone who is currently a rider or anyone who is thinking of it. This book will be inspiration for you.
