Bought as a replacement for a broken Soundtouch10. Mainly for indoors use it has an excellent clear sound that comfortably fills a room at under half volume and an easy setup. Power on and connect via Bluetooth. Found I didn’t need the “Bose Connect” app to adjust the EQ settings, in fact this app couldn’t find the speaker. Instead I just use the entirely different Bose app. and that worked first time. Great quality and a decent price with very fast delivery.

WOW! This is absolutely amazing this speaker. Choice of colours and so easy to use. The app has more support and assistance and the look and feel are so sleek and you can certainly see they have designed this perfectly.The price is as expected. You pay for what you are getting - GREAT Price and the size is perfect for taking it everywhere you need. For me to the Maldives for the chalet and the beach :)

Upgraded from the mini one i had for nearly 5 years but wanted something louder for park trips in the summer.Not dissapointed in the slightest.Bass is great. Didn't even need to be at 50% volume to have my neighbour banging on the wall and then eventually the door to tell me to turn it down!Sounds great even at low levels.Also purchased a carry case to keep the charger lead and strap safe for days out and about.Also love the color.

Battery life is good enough.Sound quality is perfect.Valued for money.

Great... but just not quite fantastic.As others have grumbled on Reddit....The Sound link Flex 2 makes a rather loud and unsubtle "WHOMP!" sound when you turn it on, it connects to a device or if you simply plug it on charge. Not so great when you want to be discreet.There's no way of disabling this in the App settings and after speaking to Bose technical support...it's normal and cannot be disabled at present. Boo :(Hoping perhaps a future software / firmware update will make it an option to disable or at least turn down the "WHOMP" (c'mon Bose this would be SO easy!) as apart from this annoyance the speaker sounds great, battery is good, charge time is quick, water resistance is perfect for the shower and it looks and feels premium as you would expect from Bose......just that ruddy.... "WHOMP" urgh :/
