Mater and the Little Tractors (Disney/Pixar Cars) (Step into Reading)

My son, who is in the process of learning to read, is very familiar with Disney and the movies/characters (we live in Orlando). We started buying a bunch fo these early reader books to introduce him to easy reading and keep the stories and characters fresh in his mind without having to watch all of the movie repeatedly. We have a bunch of these books and I would recommend them all. cute illustrations, generally keep to the original storylines, and inexpensive.

My son is two and he really likes to have this book read to him. It has a cute storyline with Mater coming to the rescue, and it's one that I don't mind reading several times a week. It has Mater AND tractors so how can you go wrong?

I like the way step into reading books are structured. I can definitely see the complexity change as the numbers increase from one of their books to another.This particular book has a decent short story that my son enjoys and requests regularly in his nightly reading before bed.

I thought this one was cute, and I'm an adult. The little tractors look and act like cows in my mind, so it makes me chuckle. My four year old is also a fan, since he loves Cars and Mater especially. The book has great illustrations and words that are easy for my young one to sound out on his own. This was a good buy and well worth my money.

If your child likes Mater, and likes stories, this book is for you. My son is 2 and loves to be read to. I found that this book was an excellent choice b/c it's simple for him to follow, the illustrations are great and it's a quick read for bedtime or naptime. This is a must for any little fans of Cars and the whole gang.

My two year old loves the movie "Cars," and he loves the "truck ride," as he refers to it, at Disneyland. This book is awesome because it explains how that ride came to be. It's cute, funny, and holds his attention well. He now wants to read it EVERY night. I don't mind it; I prefer it over his other current favorite about Mater's birthday.

I would recommend this book for anyone who knows that their child really enjoys the Cars movie. Good fun to read along and enjoying together.

I purchased this book for my 2 year old son who loves Cars and naturally the tractor tipping scene. Upon first reading he was immediately a fan. We've read it every night for nearly two months. Fortunately its a quick read and the pictures throughout are amusing.

My 5 yr old adores these books and they encourage him to read alone.
