I believe that the fact that it seems to be equally stunning in person as it does in the photographs is one of the reasons why it is appealing to both children and adults. Water fights are elevated to an entirely new level of excitement as a result of the revolving barrels and LED lights that give the impression that they are like something out of an action movie. When it came to my nephews, who range in age from eight to twelve years old, they really loved it, and even the grownups who were there at the BBQ couldn't help but have a turn. I believe that the visual attractiveness alone makes it an excellent toy for meetings with family or friends, as well as for parties. When compared to the ordinary water guns that we have used in the past, I believe that the Gatling Water Gun is capable of producing a stream that is far more forceful. Because of the two batteries, we were able to ensure that we had sufficient power to continue the fun for a considerable amount of time without having to stop and recharge any of the batteries. I utilized this device to soak several members of my family who were unaware of what was going on from a surprising distance. The water stream went far enough to make sneak assaults conceivable, which added a layer of strategy to our water battles. In addition, the backpack tank is a significant advantage since it reduces the number of times that the water has to be refilled. This is particularly beneficial during intensive water bouts, when no one wants to be caught off guard.

This is an awesome piece of kit. However, reading some of the reviews it is clear that some explanation will help. First off, the gun fully works as advertised. What you need to know is that the gatling gun comes with four pieces of equipment that need to be charged *FIRST*. The water gun comes with two rechargeable batteries that take a couple of hours each with the provided USB cable. To get the firing lights working you need to pull the circular cylinders at the tip of both gun barallels and then pull off the plastic cover for the USB C connector and then charge with the USB C cable, this takes about 1.5 hours. Once charged reinsert the rubber USB C port cover ( so water does not get in when the gun is in use ). There is a toggle button (on/off) on the end of the end point which is activated by keeping it depressed till the light start flashing. The end points have sensors and will illuminate when water shoots out. The range is impressive. Trust this helps.

I didn't expect much, and when I first assembled and tried it out *during the day* I was VERY disappointed because the muzzle flash (the lights) did not seem to work at all when the water passed through the barrel. Cut to dusk – everything works great! I'm less concerned about the range and power of the gun (thought both are good) than the light flashing, and it works just like I expected. For sub-100 dollars, you can't go wrong here. I have two pieces of feedback for a second version: 1) I'd love to see coordinated lights in the barrel as well, not just at the muzzle. 2) The amount of water shot out should be greatly reduced. As it stands, these are streams of water, but if they were cut in half or more, to pulses, I think it would enhance the effect even more. THANKS, CHINA!

They wanna water fight? No no no. You wish to fight, you go all in! Make them fear you! Just the look of it produces shock and awe! This thing is fun! It will ensure no one will be left dry! An absolute joy!

Neat effects. Not very strong though. Doesn't shoot as far as an X shot water gun for instance. Got three good uses out of it before it quit working. I took it apart to try to fix it. Everything inside was corroded. Important: the water gun is not waterproof. If anyone shoots back it can be damaged.
