Very, very soft, fits great, good quality. I would say it’s perfect if you live in a warmer climate where thicker beanies are a no go. Well worth the price.

Keep in mind this beanie is only $14 full price, so naturally it is only 50% wool. Overall, it's pretty thin for beanie, and isn't the warmest. I think of it more as a fashion hat rather than for actual warmth! Definitely sits above the ears, as this style is meant to, even if you have a smaller head, like me.

I ordered 3 colors of these. Waiting on the 3rd, but here’s a comparison between the two I have. Clearly the maroon is much bigger. I’ll make it work, but wish the maroon was same as red. Hopefully the black that arrives later is like the red.

I recently got this hat in army green, and I really like it! The wool is soft and gives a cozy feeling without being too heavy. It’s thin but surprisingly warm, making it perfect for fall and winter days.The fit is good for me with a smaller head size, but can feel slightly tight if wearing for long periods of time when fully rolled. It rolls over twice and has woven in folds that make the folding crisp. I tried taking good photo, but the stock photos were accurate on the color.Overall, I’m very happy with this beanie. I definitely recommend this one!

When they say "Thin Wool Fisherman Beanie Hat", believe it!Came vaccu-packed in a super flat, thin, sealed package like something out of an MRE.Once opened it did "fluff" up a bit but it is a thin wool hat.That's not a bad thing.I have thick wool driver's cap and beanies that are warm as heck and work great in super cold weather. They are, however, a little over kill on a cool autumn day. This beanie is perfect for those temperatures.The only downside I see is that I worry about it's longevity. The thinner nature of it could lead to wearing out quicker, but it may not. Time will tell.
