A very good software for beginners
I think that Multimedia Fusion 2 Developer software is a very good option for enthusiasts about game developing. It don't require special knowledge about computing theory neither programming skills. I learned it by doing with the help of the tutorial, examples and all the information included in the disks. The webpage of the creators of this amazing software, clickteam.com, also has a lot of manuals and designs of many games. This software is a good basis for a subsequent study about formal computer languages for game programming, like C++.

basically a substitute for Flash
What you're looking at is essentially a substitute for Flash. It's made by a French company. It shines the best when used to make simple 2D video games from the Golden Era, like Frogger, Space Invaders, Pac Man, etc.THE GOOD* It's much cheaper than Flash.* There are official forum boards for the product that will get your question answered quickly and correctly, sometimes by one of the designers!* Aside from entering expressions in the calculator, it really is all clicking! You don't have to master actionscript or anything like that.* It does make full stand-alone .exes.THE BAD* The forum boards associated with the product don't allow you to criticize it or you'll likely get banned.* Historically the versions of this program (originally called "The Games Factory") have been very buggy, unlike the incarnations of Flash. But over time these guys roll out patches that eventually fix things. But even now, years after release, there still are significant bugs.* Flash uses the Shockwave player to interface with websites. Everybody knows the Shockwave player and it is not viewed with suspicion. MMF uses a very similar add-on called Vitalize!, but since nobody has heard of it, the web apps you make with this are going to be less effective since visitors to your website will probably not have the Vitalize plug-in installed and be unwilling to take a chance on it just to view whatever you've done. Thus if having a huge audience is important for you, I'd go with Flash.

Best non-programming game/application maker!
ive been using this product for about a year now and i really like this product. Ive made great and proffesional looking games, screensavers, and apps for school and i always get extra credit! its so much fun to see what you can accomplish with this software.if your looking at this software because you want to make just screensavers it may not be worth the 250$ but if you want to make games and apps its definately worth th money.
