Great for teaching how to cut!
I am a preschool teacher and LOVE these scissors for their spring-back feature in helping little hands learn to cut! They have a good feel and a perfect length to the blade. The plastic handles and tab are strong. I've never had them break. We use them most days of the school week to cut regular copy paper as well as construction paper. They are the best scissors I have found on the market these days. My only complaint is that some of them begin to lose their edge after a year of heavy use, so I have to replace them every year.

Just squeeze
These are great for kids learning to use scissors. You only need to tell them to squeeze. As a school based OT I highly recommend these.

Good beginning scissors.
These are perfect for my preschoolers who haven’t been given an opportunity to use scissors before coming to preschool. It gives them a chance to excel without needing hand strength to open the scissors. Reasonable price per pair.

Durable
I LOVE these scissors. I work with early childhood students and these are perfect for developing cutting skills. The spring is durable and hasn't broken after many many uses. The spring is easily moved to the side when transitioning to regular cutting.
