Five stars from a family that has a mild addiction to uno. This game was fast, fun crazy, action packed. I still haven't figured out my strategy, but I highly recommend if you have a family that love games. It does take at least 3 players..... And I think you can do up to 8 or 9. It would be WILD with 9 people.

Fun game for the whole family!It’s easy to play, and gets everyone involved!!

I chose a 5 star rating because this game is easy to learn and so, so fun to play.It's just a simple trading game but the participants all trade at the same time-no waiting for your turn. We had 10 playing at one time. The youngest players being 10 years old. They had a blast along with 14 year old cousin and 11 year old sister. The rest of the group consisted of moms and dads and grandma and grandpa. Once the rules were explained everyone was eager to go. We played a few rounds and I suggested we quit and do something else. What an uproar ensued at my suggestion. We played until it was time for them to go home and their Mom asked when we could have rematch. This game is a keeper. I actually bought 4 games so that our group of 16 can divide into 4 groups at 4 different tables. When a bell sounds - everyone has to lay their hand down and run to another table, pick up that hand and continue playing. What a riot. What a great inviestment for family memories.

Pit is modeled after the pits at the stock exchange. You start out with 7 cards. There are different commodities (ie. wheat, cocoa, gold) printed on the cards and the object of the game is to have all the cards of one commodity in your hand. You accomplish this by trading cards with the other players; however, you can only offer cards that are the same commodity and you only yell out the number of cards you want to get rid of, not what item you're trading. Once you find someone else who's yelling out the same number that you are, you can trade. So, it may start out polite and quiet, but pretty soon people are yelling out "Two! TWO!", trying to be heard over every one else. So things get loud and crazy!I've played Pit at tons of get-togethers, including family game night, holiday parties, and dinner parties. It actually makes a great ice breaker, because it's so insane! Plus, I've never met a person who didn't like it! Would recommend for anyone, even people who aren't big fans of card or board games.

Pit Card Game is one of the newer card game I recently purchased for my game night parties. This game can play up to 8 and really is good for people who may not be into strategic board games or if you don't have time for something longer. It plays quickly and can get quite rowdy. I would compare this type of game more to Taboo or Cranium as opposed to Settlers or Dominion or Powergrid. But nonetheless, its a good game to have in the collection. Also portable so in case you want to take it on a road trip or play it while drinking, I think this game would be perfect. Does not come with the call bell which is required to play the game.

Just what I wanted. It has made some changes in 50+ years…but it’ll work just fine!
