Seems to work well. I got the dark brown but maybe I should have used black as my hair is very dark brown. Put 3 pumps in my dry hair and massaged in a little, left for 30 mins, washed out and used a conditioning mask for 5 mins. It burned a little for the first 10 mins after applying and then burning went away. Can still see some gray at the roots after with my wet hair. Next time I will dampen my hair first and use a couple more pumps and massage in to hairline roots more. I might also leave on 35-40 mins, a little longer. My hair seems fine/normal and not dry or brittle after conditioning. Scent isn’t as strong as box dye but still has a smell while in your hair. No drips and super easy to use, just like shampooing your hair. I washed my shower down after and don’t see any staining. Love that this is so easy!

Wow. Let me say for hair dye at a very cheap price and it still work as described , I’m super amazed 😁. Your not suppose to do a full wash after rinsing the dye out , however my hair felt horrible so I did anyways. And the dye still turned out nice. This was super easy to do. I’m only 43 but I get grays really bad and normally have to dye it every two wks. Will edit when I see how long it last. ALSO the bottle is HUGE so this is defiantly enough dye to last someone 1-2 months for sure. More If ur grays aren’t like mine lol. Great buy !!

I was a little skeptical at first but I took a chance and bought it. I have had pretty good results with this product. It covers my grey pretty well. The directions say to leave it on a little longer if your grey is not covered within the standard 15-20 minutes. I have to leave it on a little longer. I use the black dye and it does not stain my skin like regular hair dye. That alone makes me willing to buy it again. The scent is not the greatest in my opinion but it's not bad enough for me not to buy it. Overall I am happy with this purchase.

The product covers my gray, I left it on 20 min.Be sure to leave it on long enough.I wash my hair every two days, so far it has not washed out.Feel better about using this as opposed to hair dye.More cost effective.

So I dye my hair black a lot and my hair is always left damaged, I decided to give this a shot and I’m not going to lie I was very skeptical, I have grays and my natural hair is brown, it’s important to follow directions and leave it on for 30 mins if you have gray hair, I didn’t think my grays would be covered in one application because of the mixed reviews BUT it worked!!! All my hair was covered and colored! The best part about it is that not only was this the cheapest one I found but there’s enough left to last for a long time, I should’ve bought two!!! So when you pump it does have a fart smell like color oops or perm solution but it’s not a lasting smell, it comes out in two different product ones a clear color and ones a yellow tint, mix them into your hand well and apply. The fart smell doesn’t linger in your hair so that’s nice but what I will say is that everyone was in fact correct about leaving your hair feeling dry so I added some leave in conditioner and then dried my hair a bit and put some oil on it.

Super easy to use. I got great results. I did take a shower to wash off the color shampoo instead of the kitchen sink. I did use a rubber glass scraper to move the colored water to the drainage quickly. No problem with my stone flooring shower. I colored my roots for 30 minutes because I have stubborn gray/white hair. The last 8 minutes I added color shampoo to the rest of my hair. I also put the color shampoo on my eyebrows to cover my gray eyebrow hairs and it covered nicely. Very important: wear longer beauty salon gloves rather than the gloves provided. I used the Dark Brown color shampoo and I got a pretty Chocolate color. I think that is because I tend to go red anyway. Enjoy! I am all about making my life easier instead of time consuming.

Very pleased with this product. I’m 66 & love my graying hair…. But I had a lot of brassy streaks so I decided to try this black hair color shampoo. I read all the reviews then I got a little worried to try once I received it.. so I used it differently than recommended.. I wet my hair as normal then used it as I would my regular shampoo. 2 to 3 pumps of product, lathered it in thoroughly then let it sit for 3 minutes max . I was worried that I’d get jet black hair 😬. Not my goal . Then rinsed as usual & conditioned as usual.. I was very surprised at the very subtle change..loved it but I wanted more coverage !!! Sooo.. I waited a few days then tried it again adding a little more product & left it maybe a minute or two more.. perfect results !!! My hair is about 4 inches past my shoulders & now it’s a perfect blend of gray & very subtle soft black .. it looks great . . Also, there is no harsh smell & my hair is as healthy as always !!! BE SURE to wipe down any spots that shampoo may have spilled or splattered on !!! It will definitely stain any area it lands on !!! I used a bathroom spray with bleach in it & was able to remove the stains 😍👍🏻❤️😊
