Doesn’t work at all!
I had high hopes for this self watering planter and could not be more disappointed. I assembled exactly as directed, a confusing task as no instructions were included with the box. I have tried several types of plants and they have all died very quickly leaving mold all over the top of the soil. Wish I could return it!

Impossible to over or under water your plants. Plus you can move the planter to different rooms on sunny days!
I love the planter and having the color options to choose from. I liked the coffee color. It arrived today as promised. This will be used for my two African Violet plants. They don't like to be watered from the top, so this is perfect for them. I won't over water or under water with the water gauge. The planter itself can be moved around to different rooms to catch some bright indirect light. Then it can be moved back to its "home base" in the evenings. I think I will put some landscape fabric in it, so it doesn't have the soil sitting in water. I love love love it!!

Looks nice but I’m sending it back no instructions on how to put the water level thing together

Not a good planter
All of the plants that I have planted in this have died. We're 3/3 now. Every other plant I have is fluroushing and growing but anything I put in here is dead in 2 weeks.

Fantastic self-watering planter - fair price - looks great - good size for my 2 peace lilies at my desk :)I have Lechuza self-watering planters at home - but this one had a better price point.

Looks Great but Soil Became Moldy
I loved the look and size of this planter. I purchased it as a mother's day gift and planted several herbs. The issue is that the soil became covered in mold after just a few weeks. I haven't tried to plant again but may try some flowers next time.

It leaks!
It’s a good looking planter for my indoor herb garden but it leaked all over my kitchen counter. Filled it with potting soil and four cups of water. Got up the next morning to find my counter with a huge puddle around the planter. Checked the plug and it was correctly installed, but evidently not water tight.
