I was a bit concerned after I ordered this stand as to whether it would be suitable as I have a rack and panniers on my rear wheel and I worried that using the front wheel would be as stable as using the rear. I need not have been concerned as it works well. I read the reviews on many stands before choosing this one and I am sure this is the best option in terms of the trade off in size/weight of construction and ease of use. It is strong enough to do the job without being unnecessarily heavy or cumbersome. My bike has an electric conversion with a heavy battery on the downtube and a rear hub motor. It is also covered in gadgets and so if my bike feels stable (and it does) then most conventional bikes will be absolutely fine in this stand. Lastly, the two other points I liked is that it can be quickly taken apart (just one negative here - they should move from Phillips screw heads to Allen sockets for long term durability) and the high quality level of finish.All in all I can highly recommended it.EDIT: A couple of other points. I put some pipe insulation round the top part of the stand to grip my tyres (700 x 38C) as mentioned on another review and it has worked very well and stops any movement whatsoever. The second point is about disc brake rotors. I have 160mm diameter ones and there is plenty of clearance but go up to 180mm and it would be close and I reckon any larger and they may foul the uprights. I would suggest asking a question on here if in doubt.

I never review anything without using it for a few months, and this Bike Stand has been absolutely superb! Without doubt this has been the very best accessory I have ever purchased for my bike. Infact this stand is actually far more useful than the typical stand used for building bikes, this can be used for many bike maintenance tasks, for cleaning, for leaving it safely in the stand not just leant against a wall to be knocked over etc & damaged. The stand is very solid and stable. I havent 1 issue with it and can highly recommend it to anyone!

Only 4 stars as it had a slight issue. When you pop the back down there are two holes for two screws. One of these holes was slightly damaged and therefore one of the screws wouldn't properly fit in although it still works as a bike stand. Other than that it helps keep my BMX upright in the garage and is very light and easy to assemble.

Arrived without the vertical horseshoe section. I got my money back and did not need to return the base. I used two sections of plastic overflow pipe instead of the missing horshoe section and it works fine.

I have a beefy KTM electric mountain bike with chunky Marathon Plus tyres and 180mm dia discs. I was concerned whether this stand would be suitable, but I went ahead and ordered it. I need not have worried. The stand is excellent, it easy to roll the bike in, and the stability is very good. Great product!
