The biggest “hassle” is trying to find your perfect size where the last loop is still on your pants and not over hanging and then cutting a perfect line. Which means taking the ratchet piece off a couple of times through trial and error. But you end up with a belt that is customized to your size and could be adjustable down if you lost weight (but not the other way so don’t cut too small) The belt itself is a nice leather and stitched well. The grips are strong in both the ratchet and the belt grasps, and easy to unclasp to take off with a pushback of a button. Overall I am very impressed with the belt and would highly recommend.

I am a big guy who has always struggled with finding belts that fit... Stores typically carry up to 52" which can kind of fit to the first notch but it is uncomfortable and tight.This belt is the first belt in a long time that is actually too big for me, which is amazing, because I can just adjust it down a few to get the perfect fit.The ratcheting belt was kind of concerning but has proven to be robust and have not had any failures out of it.Would buy again.. I may buy a couple more just to have... Wish it was offered in other colors, Brown Gray.

My husband wears a 54 pants so he has trouble buying belts. We recently spent $1,000 on suits from gentlemen's warehouse for suits and a tuxedo for his Masonic Lodge events, and figured he needed a nice new belt to go with the pants. The belt looks great, fits great, and so far, holds up great ... quality wise, not pants-falling-down-wise lol.

this is a great belt. It is the best belt I have ever owned in terms of comfort and quality. It is much easier to adjust than your average belt and unlike more standard belts with their sizing holes that get stretched out as you use them these don’t stretch they stay in place and you can even adjust the length of the belt easily. also the delivery was quicker than I expected I selected standard shipping but still got it within two days of ordering. If you’re a big guy like me and you need a belt this is the type you should get if you don’t want a dress belt that is it’s not really dressy enough for family locations but day-to-day wearing absolutely.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  this is my first ratchet style belt and I love it. It doesn't get misshapen from pulling it back to place the buckle pin through the hole. I've had no issues with slippage, and best of all, you can very simply cut it to size. I was on Amazon shopping for a new belt because I lost weight and I looked up my old order to get the same belt in a smaller size, I found out that I could remove the buckle with the flip of the little lever, cut off 5" or so and replace the buckle just as easily. I no longer need a new belt!

Purchased a similar black belt on another website but the seam came apart within a couple of months. Just needed a strap since I saved the buckle from it. No luck but I came across this belt. I'm so happy with this purchase. Had this one for about 2½-3 months. No split in the leather so far. Buckle is still black because it's not coated in vinyl like the old one. Sizing it up was eazy with a diagram laid out on the inside of the strap. Pick your size & cut on your size or on the dotted line if you're between sizes. Picking up another color soon 😊

This belt is great. I NEVER had a ratchet style belt in till this one and I must say I really like it. Really easy to cut and have it fit your size. It's also great for those that wear half sizes like 33, 35...etcI lost a lot of weight so my old belt with the traditional holes had creases/imprints that made it look cheap and unprofessional even though it was an $80 belt.NOTE: Make sure to use a sharp blade to cut/trim for a clean edge.I'm now converting all my belts to these ratchet style belts, no more dealing with ugly holes in belts.

If you've never tried one of these belts with the ratchet buckles you are in for a treat. I always had trouble trying to get my old style belts buckled just right, one setting would be too lose and the next hole too tight. With these belts the fit is always exactly right. I liked it so much I bought two more in other colors and buckles.
