More How To Draw Manga Volume 1: The Basics Of Character Drawing (Manga Technique) Paperback – May 18, 2004

I love this book so much. I was kinda skeptical since the first book I bought (not of this series) didn't help me learn anything. This book is perfect for people who have never taken an art class and have a bit of talent. There are so many things to learn from this book and though a lot of it seems obvious after learning, I had no idea where to begin with drawing.100% recommend to anyone wanting to learn to draw this art style. It teaches the importance of under drawings and how to go from a pencil sketch to inking so simply. All the art is also great to look at. Its nice enough to inspire and simple enough to recreate as you learn!

I bought this book a couple of weeks ago just to check if it had what i wanted, it did, not 100% but good enough. It gives you alot of variety on all the subjects it covers such as: the head, the body, the eyes, the hair, and some others. I will keep using it as reference to my drawings until i cover the whole book. Good for beginners.

This was my Second how to draw manga book and compared to the first on this was the best!! I still use it even today and I bought it over seven years ago. I have not taken any art classes but I saw how improved my drawing, its a great book and I love it.

I'm still working through the book but it has given me a new way of looking at how to draw things. I seems to be able to follow along pretty well. I have enjoyed it.

I bought this for my sons girlfriend for Christmas.One of the few books she did not have on the subject.Has been using since the day she got it ...so Yeah!

A fantastic help for anyone starting to draw, with however much experience, whether drawing in a manga style or not. Makes you think about things that can make or break a drawing.

i knew this book was meant for a first step for beginners. however, the contents of the book had manga drawings from the 80's or 90's. i wanted to learn how to draw manga that is the quality i read every day, there's no way i can with this book. the only thing i can really get out of this book, is the different perceptions of where the characters are looking. i just wish the contents of the book could match the cover...

this book has everything you need if you're a complete beginner. it has things from eyebrows to proportion. also, if you're drawing eyelids, it tells you what they should look like and what they shouldn't look like.i would recommend this book if you're a beginner because it is brilliant.

bought for my son for his art GCSE

This was ordered here, and was to be sent to Australia for our Grandson who was over here at the time. It was ordered on the 13th October, and he still hasn't received it. Apparently it has to be sent from America, and obviously they have sent it surface mail- not very good !!
