This game is a lot of fun, enjoyable
This game is a lot of fun, enjoyable, as players play together against the board, not against each other. Probably helps to speak German. A game could last for hours if you want to win, perfect for rainy days.

Ghosts, Ghosts and Treasure Hunters
A great game that has been very popular in our household this Christmas. All the players have their own treasure hunter to move around the board, but to win the game it's better to work as a team (or two 2 person teams). When the alternative is games like Monopoly (where you compete directly against your fellow players, and it's horrible to lose) it's really refreshing to find a game where you fight together against a common enemy (the ghosts). This comes with German instructions, but it's easy to find the English equivalents online (the BoardGame Geek website) and print them out.http://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/103197/english-version-rules

treasure hunting
Geister Geister is now one of my family's favourite games. The advanced game is nicely balanced and gets quite exciting. Good for children but also a fun game for adults too.

Great Game (English rules link)
This is such a fun game. Yeah, it's a little basic for people into more heavy games, but for a fun hour with your gaming group, family and/or kids, this is great. It's a co-operative game, so no worries about those players that get a little too competitive, or upset if they lose. The game has 2 difficulty levels, and you are by no means guaranteed victory every time. Like all good co-op games, bad stuff can easily start cascading across the board and have you on the ropes in no time if you're not concentrating - and working together. The build quality is perfect. Cute little ghosts and nice large dice. The artwork is spot on as well, as you'd expect from Pierô.I've removed one star for 2 reasons - The first being the basic nature of it. I do prefer a game with a little more depth. This will wear out it's welcome with adult players after a while, although it does have enough happening to keep kids interested for way longer. Second, even though this is a Mattel title, it has still not received worldwide release. I'm sure they have very good reasons for releasing only in Germany, but it does mean that the cards and instructions are in German! It doesn't affect gameplay at all, as there are only a couple of cards with words on, and the art shows you what you've drawn. However, you will have to get English rules online: https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/96540/geister-rules-english-v-11Overall, this is very enjoyable, simple game to play - but not quite so simple to beat. Luckily, you'll have a load of fun trying.

Received German Version
Received German Version. Box and rules all in German. Fortunately board and cards are language neutral. Rules in English can be found online so will probably not bother returning as no where else appears to have the anniversary edition version
