I have been making artisan bread for over 20 years and always have had a hard time cutting uniform slices for sandwiches. This has changed the game for me. Not only is it easy to use but it cuts nice thin slices. I have invested in expensive bread knives but none of them got me the results that I have gotten from this device. Worth every penny.

I bake sourdough bread weekly. I enjoy how easily this bread slicer cuts through the crust on homemade bread. We have silestone counters and the suction cups holding it to the counter really work! The handle turns easily, no effort or strain like I experienced with a bread knife. The dial with the measured marks is helpful in determining size. It’s annoying that you can’t cut chunkier beyond an inch or so but not enough to knock off a star. When you are done slicing just turn the dial back to meet up with the blade for safely putting it away. This would make a thoughtful gift to a home bread baker.One thing I almost forgot to mention, make sure your fingers are clear of the blade zone as it has no safety.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It easily allows for an infinites number f width choices. Unlike others with fixed partitions that limit the size of slices to preset widths. This one is like a deli slicer so you can make slices as thin or thick as you wish. Plus high quality construction. Love it.

This is a good bread slicer. It would have been excellent if the left part was moveable (foldable) so you could easily remove bread crumbs. Also, the gradients on the left make no sense unless it's an esthetic decision. All told, I enjoy this slicer and much prefer it over using a sharp knife. Can safely recommend it

We were considering a Zassenhaus bread slicer, but had a hard time paying $230 for one. Kept my eye open for a similar product for a little less money and came upon this bread slicer. Very happy with our purchase, does everything we would have expected it to do at a very reasonable cost. would highly recommend.

Needed a quality / reasonably priced bread slicing tool to slice up a dozen loafs of homemade sourdough bread for a party. Normally just slice with a good bread knife by hand but this was simply too much. Took a chance on this Brvclon unit and was frankly surprised at how good it is. Fresh Sourdough isn't easy to slice. Tough and crusty outside, soft and sometimes inconsistent crumb inside. I sliced all 12 loaves in about 20 minutes or so, including putting the slices in their party storage containers. It cut every slice just right and of equal thickness. I got more slices out of each loaf than usual by hand. Probably an extra 20% easy. Cool. The little machine worked great. Easy to adjust thickness and cut. One issue you might have is that the base to the left of the blade (the uncut loaf side) is too small to support a whole loaf. So I just put a small cutting board of the same height to provide more surface support. NP. I've since used this machine on my other breads and doubt I'll be using my trusty bread knife as much in the future!!

This design slices small leaves well and we have enjoyed 7 months of occasional use slicing sourdough bread. However, as others have noted, the handle gets in the way of slicing larger loaves. We also recently experienced an unpleasant structural design failure in the handle grip. The surprisingly thin machined bolt inside the handle worked its way loose (or so I thought) and the handle fell off. As I popped off the plastic bolt cover cap, I was dismayed to find that the threads on the bolt and crank hardware were stripped. As it is a specialty bolt, finding a replacement for it is unlikely. The crank metal threading is also stripped where the bolt attaches, which is the larger problem as even if I could source a new bolt, I'm not sure it would fix my specific problem. A shame, because we have loved slicing our bread with this device. We are well out of our return window, so i am attempting a "McGyver" solution. Hopefully, they re-engineer the handle crank for both durability and loaf size slicing ease as this slicer filled our slicing needs well until it broke.

My husband could not slice bread with bread knife so I bought this for him. It works. It can be adjusted for the perfect slice. Good value. Light weight and easily transported. Fits into small cabinet.
