Aluminum tags have a unique "4-in-1" or "3-in-1" feature. The same number used on the asset tag is repeated on two or three (depending upon the design) additional mini-labels. The tags in a given set all show the same number or barcode. The sets, then, are typically numbered consecutively. Use the mini labels for office tracking paperwork. Or place the repeater tags on additional spots on your asset - and make it easy to spot one of the tags during your inventory. AlumiGuard® tags offer a high resolution, photographically produced print that reproduces your design or logo beautifully. The legend and the bar-code serial numbers are sealed into the aluminum. For serialized tags (with numbers only and not barcodes), the numbers are deeply indented into the aluminum. Metal asset tags are incredibly durable. The adhesives stick to most every surface, including both plastics and metal assets. You may choose from a variety of adhesive options. Tags have a matte surface that cuts down on glare and enhances fast barcode scan rates. Very high density or very small 1D barcodes may not read well when scanned with certain low-powered or low-cost consumer barcode readers. Please test the barcodes with your reader first. 2D and QR codes scan well - even with common smart phone applications.
