These are really great. Bark is beautiful and adds just the right look. The 10 I purchased are in great condition and bark is NOT falling off like some I read in other reviews. Can't go wrong with these.

I was hesitant to order after seeing that so many reviews reported cracked slices, and I needed them for an occasion in just a couple days. But I am happy to say that every single one of my medium 9-11" wood slices was wonderfully intact. The outer bark naturally breaks off a tiny bit, but the wood smells beautiful, and who doesn't like bringing nature into their home? I loved the beautiful note on top of the wood in the box—PLEASE READ IT IN THE PHOTO—which was a warm and wonderful personal touch and immediately snagged my affection and trust. I look forward to putting together a little nature display as a centerpiece for my husband's birthday. (I've included the photo I'm working from, if you're interested. I was so pleased with these! I had ordered from this company previously (and since) and they always produce an excellent product. I used these as decorative holders for the centerpieces for my wedding reception and they were just what I was hoping for. My only suggestion to those who buy is that upon taking them out of the box, brush them off lightly as there may just be a little residual wood dust from the shipping, but that only takes a moment to do and is super easy since it doesn't stick to the wood.

These are pretty, are as described by the seller. However, about half of them split ( see pic ). For our purposes we were still able to use them as a rustic base for holiday centerpieces. Depending on your needs though this may be an issue.

Use as base for ceramic Xmas tree that has lights on it

I love these. I used them for my table decorations at my baby shower. They have weight to it ans them smell like the woods.

Perfect size for centerpieces. I love the look. I bought 20 of these and every one of them are just beautiful. Nice smell too! I enjoyed reading about Cody with the thank you card. Cody hand picked my items and packed them. Cody, sawdust is man glitter. Sorry, but it is!

Better than the last batch that were mostly cracked and returned. You would think the quality control would be better as transporting these cannot be cheap.
