Supply Chain Management A Logistics Perspective

I've taken a lot of classes in my life so I know textbooks. This one throws a bit too much at you and doesn't have much flow to it. For a broad entry into the field it really needs to be more easy going and point by point. The first math heavy chapter came out of nowhere in context and just plops it all down without easing you in at all. I barely know what the heck I'm reading here.Now to the author's credit this is not an exciting topic, but some simple things would have helped. For example, and this is a huge pet peeve, if the book has tons of abbreviations then put a little key on each page they appear on. I don't have the mental power or patience to remember every little industry abbreviation, especially if I see it once spelled out many pages ago. One improvement would be that.Good luck reading it, you're gonna need it.

I MEAN: Terrific price compared to the US edition of this text. Likely anywhere from a third to a tenth of the price of what your school told you to buy. And the only difference is how the pages line up, the cover art, and you feeling cheap in front of your classmates when they see your straphanger, redheaded book. You call yourself a Business major? Think on it. For 3 seconds.Ship is quick enough: You studying for finals yet?

You know what's really awesome is not telling your customers the book is the international version. As someone else noted, it's also not the same title. I'll compare this in class to see if it will work but yeah, completely dishonest in my opinion.

Required reading for my summer school class. The text was blogged down and they tried to amuse with pictures covering half of the page but this is a serious book to get through. Do not expect that you will fly through this text - it really makes you bite down hard. If you are looking into the basics of Supply Chain Management and are looking for a very broad overview with lots of details, this is the text for you.

This book has several pages out of order. In multiple sections of the book. For example I was on page 158, the next page was 167/168, then Page 165/166, then 163/154 then 159/160. Pretty much every chapter has a bad section.
