I’ve had keratosis pilaris on my upper arms and thighs for years and tried so many products — this is the first one that genuinely made a visible difference. I used the Naturium KP Body Scrub & Mask 2–3 times per week for 4 weeks. After the second week I noticed the bumps were less noticeable and by week four my skin texture was so much smoother. Why it works for me: the scrub has a nice balance of chemical and physical exfoliation — it buffs away roughness without stripping my skin. It’s gentle enough that I could use it a few times a week without redness or irritation. My moisturiser absorbed so much better afterwards and my arms looked more even. Practical notes: I apply it to damp skin in the shower, massage for 30–60 seconds, leave it on like a mask for 2–3 minutes, then rinse and follow with a urea or lactic acid moisturiser. A little goes a long way. Would I recommend? Yes — especially if you want better texture and a smoother look. If you have very reactive skin, patch-test first. I tend to get patches of rough skin, particularly in the winter, and fully admit that when bundled up in woolly jumpers and trousers, I feel less desire to exfoliate than in the summer when more of me is exposed! That said, I've been very happy to try out this exfoliating scrub, and have found it to be pretty effective at softening my skin, particularly on my upper arms. The scrub is rather thick, and can be resistant to departing its tube but once liberated and slathered on my skin, I find it easy to work with. I really like that it's unperfumed and not too gritty. It feels gentle on my skin, and leaves it feeling soft and very clean. Reminds me of how I used to feel after leaving the hammam when I lived in Morocco! I would prefer it to come in tubs, though (like the ones used by Lush), which would make it easier to use. This product does contain dimethicone, which is not biodegradeable, so can enter the ecosystem. However, thanks to waste-water treatments, most silicones are processed or removed using photo-mineralization and/or clay catalised-hydrolysis. Finally something that actually prevents ingrowns! After trying several products over the years for bikini line ingrown hairs I can finally stop my search because this KP scrub does everything I need it to do. Not only does it prevent ingrown it also helps with the texture and hyperpigmentation from previous ingrowns — and fast! I love it.

Makes a huge difference to my skin. I suffered from Pityriasis Rosea earlier in the year and saw that someone had used it for the marks it left on their body. This has worked to remove my marks and rough areas feels smooth after use.

After just one use it tangibly smoothed skin in areas I regularly put glycol acid on and not been able to improve that much. It needed some physical exfoliation but this is very gentle even for my sensitive skin as the particles are finely milled. Highly recommend and now using it on full body twice a week and even tried once on my face very gently and not had any issues although wouldn’t suggest using it there too regularly.

Dont bother. For those who have been struggling with KP for a long time do not waste money on products like these. Go visit a dermatologist, this will just give u false hope.

I use body scrub once a week and most of the products I have used was sugar based. This product comes in a tube and is very thick. Squeezing it out of the tube was not the best experience in a shower. It was easy to spread and did not irritate the skin. I tried really hard to rinse the product off. In fact, my skin felt too smooth as if I could not rinse it off. Unfortunately, it is not the right product for me.

I absolutely love this product. Makes my skin feel super soft. Has helped with ingrown and really making my skin feel better!

I have been suffering from KP for 2 years now and its very frustrating. I have used so many products but none of them worked. I love how this scrub has fine beads thats not harsh on your skin but exfoliates it well. Im seeing an improvement on my arms and will continue using it. And you dont have to use a lot every time. A little goes a long way.

PRODUCT PACKAGING: A nice minimalist aesthetic. The tube is easier to squeeze out product compared to First Aid Beauty’s. OVERALL USE: I enjoy this product a lot more than other KP body scrubs that I have used. Overall, the formulation is definitely my favourite one. However, it does clog my drain and is difficult to clean. PROS: Glides onto the skin nicely and exfoliates well without irritation. CONS: Clogs drain, and is difficult to clean out of the shower.

For a month now, I used this product 2-3x a week before I shower followed by Naturium Glycolic body wash and my KP has slowly disappeared! My arms are much smoother. I'm so satisfied! The product came in intact.
