It's a really well designed book thats easy to read. I've flicked through at on anticipation and I can't wait for the 1st November. I'm looking forward to do this with the family over advent. I will update my review after Christmas ⛄🎁🌲

This is a great idea to combine escape rooms with a Christmas advent calendar, I am excited for 1st December to start the first challenge!

Got this for my wife and I to enjoy together.Looked through it as soon as it arrived and it looks brilliant, can't wait to get started on the 1st December.

I bought this for my brainiac teenage nephew. Having flicked through the introduction I’m definitely keeping it myself! I’m not giving anything away; but I can’t wait for the 1st December to get the games underway properly!

Bought this for my 15 year old. They are loving it! We end up doing it together, so it’s our time to bond. Want to do more!!

The fact that this is a UK based company matters! The first day answer is frost because the bird is actually a European Robin so it represents the letter is R which looks nothing like our robins here in north america. Still doable but maybe frustrating for kids or people here to figure out. Not the best for north Americans. Other puzzles are extremely easy so far

My 8 & 10 year old love doing Escape Rooms so I wanted something different than the plastic toy advents that they get over in a day. This Advent Calendar book is so much fun! My husband and I try to resist helping at first each day to allow our kids a chance to solve the clues .

The first word is frost. Took me 2 days to figure out. It's not bird, it's fledgling. And the picture is "red" maybe?

This is a good idea, but executed POORLY.The book is cryptic (in a bad way that won't help you understand the puzzle).The website doesn't offer any assistance or hints. It's just you know it or you are stuck.NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

I was excited about this book and like many others am disappointed. I have not figured out day 1 but have figured out days 2-5. But nothing seems to happen after it says I am correct. Do I have to have day one to proceed? The hints are confusing because it asks what is missing but it is more what is added. The first letters of each of the added items do not add up to a word. Is it a specific bird I am supposed to figure out so I have that letter wrong? Would love to have someone give better hints other than that Santa's family is not in snow. The picture is so small. Heck, skip the hints, just give the answer so many can move on past day one. I can't give a great review unless I see how it actually works.next day edit: I contacted the company. Yes, it is not just a bird but a robin. And it is not about the picture but the frame. But I still don't understand if more is supposed to happen on the website. I have asked them again about that.2nd day edit: I upgraded my star rating with having answers from the company. The website apparently does not have any function other than telling you if you are correct. That part is disappointing to me. But they say they are working on upgrading it to do more.
