A must have for my commute.
So far this has been a great item and a great value. I ride a road bike regularly and quite often my riding apparel doesnt have pockets. I just needed someplace to keep my phone handy while on my commute, somewhere other than my backpack or my pannier. This item now allows me to just glance down to see who is calling me. I will never miss an emergency phone call while on my bike and gone are the days of pulling over and digging out my phone to make sure it wasn't an emergency call. Quality appears good. It attaches to bike very easily and takes only seconds to transfer to one of our other bikes. Stays secure to the bike with no issues. Clamp that holds phone (I have a Motorola Droid Turbo) is very strong and I have no fear of it losing its grip. The only issue (and this hasn't been one in my case) is if you hit a large bump or pothole the position of your phone can change. Much like a video camera on a tripod, no fear of it becoming detached or dislodged but if it gets bumped or jiggled the camera will move. If this does become an issue I see no reason why you couldn't position the phone exactly where you wanted it and then put some super glue to permanently lock it in place (but then you would lose the ability to rotate phone position from vertical to horizontal). I like this item, it works very well, and I recommend it to anyone interested in purchasing.

If you want a decent cheap phone mount, get it.
If you want a decent cheap phone mount, get it.I didn't expect much for 6 bucks, but for the price I feel like it performs good enough. Vibration kept making the phone change positions, but I was able to use a wrench to tighten the nut enough to prevent this. You probably won't be able to get this to fit on a wrapped road bike handlebar without removing a piece of the bracket, but it works just fine without it as long as you tighten it a lot.I don't really consider this a fault of the mount itself, but it'll be an issue with certain phones. Due to the position of my volume buttons (Droid Turbo 2), I had to shift the phone to one side to mount it. At one point the phone came loose and almost fell. This wouldn't have happened if I was able to have it centered on the mount. Again, not the fault of the mount itself, but something to watch out for depending on your volume button location. But for 6 bucks it got the job done. I could have gotten much better but would have spend 3-4x as much.

The piece feels a little (expectedly) cheap but it is definitely a sturdy little holder with really good clamping pressure from the arms. I use this on my motorcycle and my phone hasn't so much as moved during my rides, which was my primary concern. My only complaint is that the gripper arms are at a perfect width such that they sit right on top of the volume buttons on my iPhone 4S. Since the gripper pads themselves are made of relatively soft rubber that's contoured favorably to the buttons I don't believe it has mashed them during a ride but it also means I don't have access to them while it's mounted and there's not much room for adjustment.

Clamps are not wide enough for road bars w/tape, especially with cables.
This is decent for the price, but has one pretty major flaw. The clamp for the bars just isn't wide enough. It doesn't come close to being able to clamp over a standard road bar handlebar with bar tape - especially one that has the cabling underneath it. If you have something like a 105 groupset (with the concealed cabling) this most likely will not clamp onto your bars. It's also way too small to clamp around my stem.I bought this to use on a stationary trainer over the winter, so I ended up just clamping it to my GPS mount. Since I don't plan to take it outside at all it's fine for me, but anyone looking to actually use this on the road or trail should look elsewhere.

Awesome bike phone mount! Buy it!
Review of the DgRock Universal Bike Bicycle Mount Phone Holder Handle Bar For iPhones, Iphone 6, Samsung galaxy, Smartphones, GPS Devices, with Rotating BasePros:- Very inexpensive compared to other bicycle phone mounts.- Holds phones incredibly tightly.- Works with a huge range of phones (I have tried it with the iPhone 4s, Google Nexus 5, Motorola Moto X 2nd Gen, iPhone 6 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy Note 3).- Has rubber grips on the inside that grip your phone but also don't damage it.- Built with solid plastic that is very tough.- Mount clamps on the handlebars tightly.- Can rotate in many directions.Cons:- None! (I know, I was surprised too!)Verdict:Extremely impressive. I came in expecting a cheap product given the price, but this thing is awesome.5/5

Installation and removal are both quick & easy and require no tools
Works perfectly with my Galaxy S5. I've had the product for several months now and I have no idea how many times I've used it, removed it, and reinstalled it (I remove it when I'm on the road vs. the trainer). Installation and removal are both quick & easy and require no tools. The product is also plenty robust to handle consistent use for a long time. I bought this item for use on my trainer and have never used it on the road. I don't think the high profile is designed for road use but I also believe the design makes it more effective for my trainer.

Design is good, not perfect
Design is good, not perfect, but what product ever is? As others have noted, the grip covers the volume controls on some devices. Depending on how it's oriented, sometimes the mount can obstruct the handle that one uses to open the grip.Bought in july, and the lock ring cracked in september. Could have been made a little sturdier.Support is non-existant. Left messages both via the support page and phone number on the support page. Was never contacted.

Easy to install.
Holds the phone just fine. it does however grip my phone in a way that sometimes engages the side function buttons.Installation is simple and straight forward. Seems fairly stable for lighter phones, I wouldn't recommend it for a larger I phone or android. But, It works fairly good with my lumia 521.
