Before buying this I was running one 600w led. The area I needed to cover is about 3x6ft. The 600w just wasn't covering it. My plants are loving this light. In using both these lights the plants are starting to lean towards the 1000w. This one has two built in fans to keep it cool. The 600w has one fan and this 1000w is actual quieter. You can hear it if you are standing next to it but it puts off less noise than a normal house fan. I will update this review throughout the growing process from seed, when I start. I have no complaints and believe this is a great light. If I was to change anything, I'd put the on off switch in a different place. I will be putting this on a timer, so that will not matter. I could see someone who is just getting into growing having trouble turning it on and off without a timer.

BRIGHT. Honestly, don't look directly into it. This is a replacement for a 1000w HPS light, but being LEDs, only needs maybe 300w. The included hanging kit is perfect for getting the light level, and to adjust height as seedlings grow. Very pleased with the purchase.

Pretty good product, was worth the money for a small start-up light. I can only fit one medium sized plant under it, but it's thriving.
