Immersive OLED Powerhouse for Serious Gamers
I’ve been using the LG UltraGear 45GS95QE for a few weeks now and honestly, it raises the bar for immersive gaming. The 45″ curved OLED screen wraps around your field of vision thanks to its aggressive 800R curve, so once you’re in a fast-paced shooter or an open-world RPG, it genuinely feels like you’re inside the action. The 3440 × 1440 resolution means you get tons of screen space, but text and interface elements aren’t as crisp as on a 4K screen. Still, in games and movies the contrast blows everything else out of the water—those true black OLEDs and infinite contrast ratio make dark scenes pop in a way LCDs just can’t match. Brightness peaks around 275 nits, which is decent for home setups, though you might struggle in sunlit rooms.Performance-wise, this thing is lightning fast. The 240 Hz refresh rate combined with a near-instantaneous 0.03 ms pixel response time practically eliminates motion blur, and with both NVIDIA G‑Sync compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, I’ve had zero stutter or tearing. It’s ultra-smooth, especially in competitive titles. The HDR400 True Black certification adds another layer—it feels cinematic, vibrant, and punchy in both SDR and HDR content. The build quality is what you’d expect from LG’s premium UltraGear lineup: built-in height/tilt/swivel stand means I get the perfect view angle every time, and the rear cable management keeps my desk clean. It’s not a fancy bendable screen like some Corsair ultras, but the fixed 800R curve really does feel more enveloping than most flat ultrawides. There are a few caveats. If your work involves spreadsheets, PDF editing, or dense text it’s not ideal—pixel density is around 84 PPI, so small text can seem slightly soft. OLED also means risk of burn-in if you leave static content onscreen for hours. LG includes mitigation tools, but it’s something to watch for. And yes, at a street price of around $1,700 it’s definitely an investment—but between the premium gaming performance, cinematic visuals, and slick design, it’s worth it if you want one screen that does it all.To sum up, the LG 45GS95QE is a specialist’s dream—serious gamers and immersive movie lovers alike will appreciate what it delivers. If you're okay compromising a bit on text clarity and are cautious about burn-in, it's one of the smoothest, most visually impressive ultrawides you can buy.

Awesome OLED Monitor!
Was going back and forth on spending this much on a monitor but OLED changes your entire experience. The 34” is a great size and the pixel density is awesome! I believe the 34” is also little brighter than the 39”. When I first got it, there were vertical lines on the screen and thought I had a defective monitor but OLEDs need to do an image cleaning every once in a while especially when new. Once it was done it was flawless. Really happy I picked this up.

Wont let you down
Configuration of this was a bit tough to start and the text clarity isnt the best but my god is the image quailty just sublime. Every color is just so vibrant and the blacks are inky as expected for the oled. I got this on sale for 600 and I believe I got a steal of a monitor especially seeing the competition at the price. The build quality is also pretty great but I cannot comment on the stand since I have mine mounted on a monitor arm. I think if you are looking to get into OLED then this is an amazing option.

Inspect well upon delivery. Quality of everything is amazing after proper calibration.
pretty outstanding monitor, but my best advice is to inspect well upon delivery though. The one I have has a very small indention on the screen in the bottom left but is pretty much unoticeable until I deep cleaned it about a month or 2 after I recieved it & don’t feel the need to return since it doesnt affect the screen at all. Also remember to use graphics acceleration when using youtube/google chrome or else those frames are gonna be terrible lol. Other then delivery issues & getting the proper settings on it everything was amazing quality wise.

Impeccable screen quality and super smooth gameplay
This monitor is just wow, it is perfect for running 4k at 120hz with the xbox series x. It has vrr and if your using a PC it can reach 480hz! The menu is sleek and easy to work with. The design is sharp and very adjustable in height and angle. It also has the rgb backlighting to give that extra gamer feel. Expensive but in my opinion worth it.
